Fred again.. has announced the release of ‘USB001’ - the first volume of his ‘infinite’ album project, now available as a limited vinyl drop direct from Fred’s store.

‘USB001’ is an infinite, ever-evolving album that includes recent releases ‘Baby Again’, ‘Rumble’ w/ Skrillex & Flowdan, ‘Jungle’, ‘leavemealone’ w/ Baby Keem and ‘stayinit’ w/ Lil Yachty, plus remixes featuring HAAi, Rico Nasty and Nia Archives.

‘USB001’ also features two new records; ‘BerwynGesaffNeighbours’, which samples BERWYN & Gesaffelstein, and ‘ItsNotREEAALLLLLLLL’. The latter samples DuoTeque, Orion Sun and uses a drum beat first sent to Fred by Four Tet, lifted from an hour-long Richie Hawtin mix 'DE9 - Closer To The Limit' recorded in 2001. Richie trawled back through the mix stems of over 100 records spliced together to track down where the drums originated from, tracing them back to a producer called Steve Sullivan.

Seit nunmehr zwei Jahren veröffentlicht Fred again.. in
regelmäßigen Abständen neue Clubtracks im Rahmen
seiner fortlaufenden "USB"-Reihe. Nun kündigte der Brite
die Veröffentlichung von " USB001" an - alle bisher
erschienenen USB-Tracks erstmals gebündelt auf einer
Vinyl.
"USB001" ist ein "unendliches" Album, d.h. es entwickelt
sich mit jedem neuen Track weiter. Enthalten sind die
Releases aus der letzten Zeit wie "Baby Again", "Rumble"
mit Skrillex & Flowdan, "Jungle", "leavemealone" mit Baby
Keem und "stayinit" mit Lil Yachty sowie Remixe mit
HAAi, Rico Nasty und Nia Archives. Außerdem zwei neue
Tracks , die Fred again.. begleitend zur Ankündigung ins
Rennen geschickt hat: " BerwynGesaffNeighbours" ,
das BERWYN & Gesaffelstein sampelt, und "
ItsNotREEAALLLLLLLL" , das auf einem Sample von
DuoTeque x Orion Sun und einem Drumbeat basiert, den
Fred ursprünglich in einem einstündigen
Richie-Hawtin-Mix aus dem Jahr 2001 entdeckt hatte.
Bei den Grammys 2024 war Fred in vier Kategorien
nominiert und gewann zwei Grammys für "Actual Life 3
(January 1 - September 9 2022)" als " Best
Dance/Electronic Music Album? und " Best
Dance/Electronic Recording? für seine Arbeit an
"Rumble" ft. Skrillex , Flowdan und Elley Duhé. Die
