Four slices of well fashioned, steely tech house from Club Magnus, kicked off with two versions of 'Fool Love' by Dudley Strangeways & Magnus Asber. Both have a similarly irresistible but understated minimal framework to work from, the vocal mix - as its name would suggest- heaps more generous helpings of the austere male vocal, while the Jumped Up club mix makes more space for ingenious sonics to do their stuff.

Jonno & Tommo's 'Acid Cabbage' continues proceedings, with a bubbling b-line and some echoey old skool stabs and chords, before Numonika's 'Cosmic Girl' completes the set with its most acid-led composition, the wriggling 808 action nicely offset by some smooth strings and tinkling bell melodies.[info sheet from distr.]
