For our 33rd release we welcome back DARIUS SYROSSIAN whos last Area Remote >Stay Up Dancing, Get In Monday< scorched the international club systems back in March. SEEKING FOR PEACE was triggered after Darius got home from a great gig and while chilling at home saw the news on TV. Horrific footage of the onslaught in the Middle East and the suffering of the innocent families caught up in the bombing made him realise that when he had been living it up, others were living in fear. Bass Not Bombs is the inspiration for the other 3 remixes. The proceeds from his two tracks will be given to the International Red Crescent.
DARIUS SYROSSIAN’S 4AM MIX: Short chord jabs swing while deep bass belches – this pumping groove is riddled with drum breaks, piano jabs and warm vocals so if you’re looking for peace, don’t expect it in the club space.
DJ KOOL DEK RMX: DJ Kool Dek’s point of view beefs up the bassline and boosts the bounce to make sure the club floor thumps.
BASS NOT BOMBS ORIGINAL MIX: The original mix and the inspiration for the 3 other tracks on this EP. Here Darius Syrossian slices the vocal message and gives it a kickass dance beat that brings you the heat of New Jack Swing in a Tech House sound jacket.
WILLIAM KOUAM DJOKO'S PEACE OF ME RMX: William’s treatment goes deep and freaky to ensure the party people get all funked up.
