Following earlier collaborations with Asad Rizvi and Haris, UK producer Chris Pascoe steps out solo with Mong Juice / Trippy Breakfast— a release that captured his deep, late-night take on tech house at the time.

Cut with a strong musical sensibility — Pascoe is a skilled bass guitarist, a fact reflected in the record’s sub bass patterns crafting a rich, rolling low end — Mong Juice delivers a dubby, spacious groove driven by reverb-soaked textures and an old-school bleep techno bassline. On the flip, Trippy Breakfast leans into deeper, more tribal territory, pairing hypnotic rhythms with warm minor-key chords. Mixdown came courtesy of the late great Simon Copleston (Iteration X / Rob & Si) at Online Studios, Croydon where Si put his expert engineering touch to the sound of this record.
