A number of books were eligible but the emotional appeal to The Snow Goose by Paul Gallico was so strong they started writing and recording a concept album that would portray their vision of the story. The result, the instrumental The Snow Goose, turned out to be their breakthrough. Pressing on 180 grams audiophile vinyl, including full colour insert.
This masterpiece climbed to the Top-30 of the British charts, it earned Melody Maker's Brightest Hope award and firmly established the band with a strong and loyal fanbase.
