Throughout his catalogue Burnski has managed to hold on to a sound that is timeless and this is a trait maintained across 'DNA'. This is an LP that cleverly straddles narrow gaps between genres, touching on House, Acid, Dub, Disco, Garage and Techno and manages to simultaneously sound both current and classically-minded.
The album kicks off the burning cosmic plod of 'Like You' before breaching more sturdy and metallic territories with tracks like 'Green Room' and 'Control'. 'Another Source' carries a completely irresistible step to it before the tightly wound 808 drums of 'Cosmic Warfare' whip through rich, capacious pads. 'State of Panic' precedes album closer 'Callisto' which sets bounding 909s through swooning Juno pads that round off an impeccably well-rounded package and another solid addition to the Constant Sound catalogue.
