Supported by Loco Dice, Luciano, Monika Kruse, Dubfire, Karotte, Reboot, Paco Osuna, Gregor Tresher, Johnny D, Thomas Schumacher, Lauhaus, Tim Green, Robert Dietz, Anthony Collins, Someone Else, Felipe Venegas ... 2009 was the year in which Amir really put his name on the map. With his tunes and releases on 8Bit, Material Limited and Trapez Ltd he has been climbing into nearly every top DJs record case as well as constantly proving and improving his sound skills. Living proof for the recognition he is receiving is his most recent signing of two tracks to the legendary NRK Music label, which is to be released within the next three months.

With a three-track EP on his own label bouq.records, which he shares with his friends Butch, Chris Laut and Sebastian Lutz, he is now making his solo debut to show us, what bouq. is made of. “Busy bouq.”’s A-side “Bibi Baba” has already found many a fan since Amir’s first test version in June, the finalized mix has already been tearing down sets of Loco Dice, Karotte and Luciano. A thumping groove, confusing break and the elating finale make this song a true dancefloor destroyer!
The flip includes the songs “Is He The Tree?” as well as “The Curl”. “Is He The Tree?” is one beautiful house tune which you just can’t get enough of. Great drums, dubby chords, subtle experiments meet African wisdom. “The Curl” is one grooving tool with so many variations within the loops, that you still keep constantly on your toes anxious to find out what could be next. The magnificent sounds and vibe make this song a most special experience on the floor.
Expect more for 2010 because Amir is only just getting warmed-up.
