Red Earth Records presents a new six-track EP. Responding to popular demand, the title track >We re Not Leaving< is here presented in a radio-edit version (Side 1, track 1), after having been released in an extended version last year on 7 inch vinyl. This will be plugged on UK radio this summer combined with a UK and European tour, preceding the release of the new Soothsayers album in September.

Soothsayers make their mark here with some sublime vocal harmonies, paying respect to the tradition of great vocal trios, stretching all the way from Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Congos, The Gladiators and beyond. Combined with some truly poignant lyrical and melodic writing and great musical accompaniment from the Soothsayers band, this recording, made at Prince Fatty's stduio in Brighton as well as Soothsayers' own South London studio, and mixed by Manasseh, is a modern classic. Side 1, track 2 - 'We're not leaving dub' is a new dub version by fashionable DJ and producer Wrongtom (whos work with Roots Manuva, Hard-Fi and Pama International among many others has won him much recent acclaim).

The last track on Side 1 is a re-working of a track taken from Red Earth Dub, Red Earth Record's most recent full album, retitled "Red Earth Roots" for this release and featuring new live instrumentation, 3-part harmony vocals and a killer MC vocal from Horseman (who has most recently been heard adding his unique vibes to Hollie Cook's/Prince Fatty's recent album and live tour)

Kicking off Side 2 is a remix by Yesking of 'One Day', a tune from Soothsayers' forthcoming album (to be released later this year), which in this version features the sublime vocals of Julia Biel and an irresistible up-tempo groove tweaked and dubbed by the talented Yesking.

Following this on side 2 is another track from the forthcoming Soothsayers album, originally an afrobeat-influenced tune with dub elements, but here re-worked in a dub style with fat bass and heavy one-drop groove. Sweet vocal harmonies from Soothsayers with conscious lyrics talking about our need to respect this planet. This is followed by a superb Yesking dub/instrumental version which completes Side 2.
