London born D. Lean lives in the windswept Swedish countryside on the outskirts of Stockholm. His surroundings have a notable influence on the sound of the Autoreply Music boss. Expansive and absorbing techno with a nod to the classic sounds and techniques of the genre. After two excellent 10inch singles and a remix of Ken Ishii and Romboy s single Taiyo, Lean released an appetiser ahead of this double CD album of the same name, Time Tourism. This long player is a classy, deep and delicate dark electronica album in the tradition of Detroit techno, which gets taken on a trippy, tracky and repetitive journey.
