I Wrote This Track While Playing With G2g And Mike Banks Was Always Pushing Us To Electrify Your Roots. Though My Family Is Not Cuban, Cuban Music Has Been A Huge Part Of My Musical Development As A Musician. The Track Uses Traditional Cuban Rumba Rhythms (guaguanco) To Trigger Synths And Percussion Samples Alike To Create A Dense Polyrhythmic Cushion For The Track To Sit On.
