dracula lewis unterschreibt bei souterrain transmissions! aber wer zur hölle ist dracula lewis? der aus transsilvanien stammende produzent bleibt vor allem in der blogwelt ein mysterium, und das obwohl eben diese blogs seine tracks fleißig posten. angeblich lebte er bis vor kurzem noch in einem besetzten haus in mailand, wo er an diversen kunst-installationen getüftelt und einen illegalen club betreibt (oder betrieb). dracula lewis hat ein eigenes label, hundebiss records, heimat für bands der stunde wie hair police, sewn leather und jaws. mit den hundebiss-signings jaws und sewn leather tourte er bereits durch die usa und europa. nun kommen wir mal zur musik. dracula lewis beschreibt diese wie folgt: >expansive, pseudo-horror-flick music that oscillates between ethereal ambience and grinding, zombie-attack noise freakouts<. da ist immer diese seltsame, dunkle magie, die über seinen tracks schwebt. mit >permafrost< erscheint nun zunächst eine auf 500 stück limitierte 12 inch, ein studioalbum ist für märz 2013 geplant.
