i d been thinking about starting a label for a few years but it never really seemed like it could work. nowadays there is more coherence in my productions it seems like the right time. i will be releasing music from other artists as well my own stuff - underground house, techno and the rest, stuff with darkness and sexiness. hopefully it is music that will speak to (somebodys) heart as well as their feet. the first release is called no splice no playback and it is two tracks of house music. vinny (flamingo) is a basement thing, suckle (twenties) works in warehouses too. thanks for reading. -mosca

the white house is announcing the ban of i/y008, the first official ban concerning an alternate techno record in the history of the united states. i am honored to see my husband protecting our children and serving my country, and i look forward to banning more music on behalf of the american people over the coming years, the first lady said. from climate change to aliens to personal investments and to music, we are keeping our promises in methodically overturning regulations and sounds adopted by reptilians.” the impeachment of alternate artists is expected to gain massive support from the country scene for up to two years, 542 people would be directly related to the issue. • i/y008 consists of 4 tracks by the i/y duo, and reportedly destroyed the ears and minds of our white house press secretary and president. as a candidate, mr. president said i am going to bring back the music and melodies that have been stripped away from you, the people. this starts now.
urgent’s main man deego fresh delivers the third release on odd music sub-label with a bunch of excellent dj tools with a soul, taking us on a deep and introspective journey while maintaining the drums as sharp and as tight as in the previous outings, characteristic of his inimitable production style. hot material right there.
comes with a magazine, a cult membership card, and a hand numbered ticket to the attending experimental theater performance. with la missions second missive, the cult sings you some more songs about fucking. and revolution. humanity is a ship we are all sailing. tough, slowly developing house with weird unintelligible vocals, a philip glass-ish short interlude, and then some ridiculously slow and syrupy 100bpm deepness round out this little package. made with you in mind. thanks for listening.
so what is after the void ... we bang the bomb of course with a lady in a thong surrounded by snakes and hand grenades, obvious really! having been away for some time it appears that a light sounds dark spring is in the air. en route to their next destination (rumoured to be a dark subterranean world full of nasty mutants danger electrified tracks out this summer) with arms out the window and the mothership roof down, its full steam ahead and proper european dance music time. not really train spotting as before although a couple are a bit off piste like maltas very own ian dury by the name of iain richardson rapping about sitting on a green bus! much more like it however are classic italo covers of big in japan, gloria, a wonderful new wave version of falcos euro smash der kommissar and the thoughts massive german hit wait a long time sounding like some long lost talk talk record. light sounds dark do some minor tweaking (going for that natural look) to big beast anthems axodrys you and colme 111s you take me high (early euro take on chicago) and for lovers of something a bit more funky theres some groovy goings on from kraut funksters epsilon urging people to leave the city which might not be a bad idea if the water runs out.
deep space orchestra having been forging a nice niche in a modern take on house music, blending, disco, detroit and chicago influences , and here at tracky bottoms, we cottoned on to one of there deepest tracks to date mass illusion about a year ago now ! its taken a while to come to fruition , but the stolen future ep is here . mass illusion it self is probably the track gaining most interest , probably because it has achieved the difficult task of being very deep but also quite anthemic , also featuring on the ep - stolen future harks back to early carl craig vibes , with a ruff ass beat driving the synthy techno , theres a remix of this from label boss toby tobias who takes it in a more loopy chicago vibe and last track witch doctor has ethnic hypnotic quality about it , but with some added dynamics by toby who edits it for maximum dancefloor reaction
two tracks from alden tyrell which he played in his live sets a couple of times. produced without the intention to release them or do anything with it beside using them a few times in his sets. however after we played the tracks from cdr we just needed to get them on vinyl! so here they are... two basic chicago house trax ready to be played out loud!

john >julius< knight returns to the production forefront with his highly anticipated soulfuric trax ep >trax for my head<. >trax for my head< features three very diverse productions and is set to capture the attention of a wide range of djs, making this ep a perfect example of jjk s ability to create varied sounds to maximum effect. >the cut< rolls in as a captivating >french kiss< style tune, that fuses classic house sounds with contemporary beats, making this a seriously gripping instrumental-only track. most likely the biggest surprise production-wise, >the rush< is a laid-back but equally powerful tech cut. the blend of atmospheric sounds, tight beats and a driving bassline creates a sublime musical weapon. with >what is love< jjk delivers a prime-time bomb, that is set to create some real heat on the dancefloors. uplifting strings and a pumping bassline build the core of this explosive production
busted speaker brew is the second installation by the afternoon coffee boys on clink recordings. this new minimal rocker walks the fine line between minimal and techno with acb’s signature drum programming and short decay instrumentation. the afternoon coffee boys, aka tim xavier and tony rohr, released their debut collaborative release on clink001 last year with one of the bigger eps of 2005: dark blend. their follow-up ep on cocoon, >glitches brew<, was released at the beginning of this year and was a huge success. their music has been praised by top artists such as adam beyer, richie hawtin, sven väth and marco carola, and they show promise as one of the new leading duos of 2006. this ep is an excellent release as acb continues to push the minimal edge with their techno influences by keeping the tracks rhythmic and driving while maintaining the slow, deep and funky pace that djs are currently pursuing in their sets
