while the 3 tracks are stylistically different from each other, they are clearly connected by an underlying theme that showcases some different shades of this very talented artist. three punchy electro-house productions, 100% dance floor oriented, characterized by strong bass line, ethereal pads and sudden acid improvisations that create a continuous atmosphere of surprise.

omar akhrif, donald and br&#363,n are an italian trio who gave life to the big morning records project, which follows the homonymous after party. solenoid 29 is the alias they wanted to use for this first ep, which contains 3 tracks that merge a nervous but elegant mix of techno, house and electro sounds. plus a track remixed in a dreamy way by the infamous spatial artist etienne.

with this first release the labelheads mm:ms present the musical direction of the newborn techno label writtentozero and give you an imagination of the things to come. solenoid (graphene, belief system) delivers a remix on top.

the numero groups dive into the deep end of americas private press continues. having battled the witches and wizards of darkscorch, the outlaws of cosmic americana, and traveled alongside ladies from the canyon and their lonesome heroes, its time to take it easy. with pop musics volume knob adjusted for deflation in the early 70s, softness begat smoothness. crewmen arrived from the worlds of jazz, folk, rock, and soul, all peddling a product that was sincere, leisurely, and lofty. a sound that was buoyant, crisp, defined. sometimes classified as west coast and, later, yacht rock the compass points of our private yacht expedition are the blue-eyed harmonies of hall and oates, the cocaine-dusted fender rhodes of michael mcdonald, and the combover strums of james taylor. here, at the glassy apex of rocks softer side, 20 strong swimmers are gathered together. an album for both relaxation and reflection, where listeners can enjoy the present, a cool breeze, and a taste of the good life.

the record opens up with the poisonous title-track “two scorpios”, where sharp analogue leads lean on a relentless disco-funk groove, thrusting us out straight against the sweaty walls of the chicago’s muzic box. the airy and enchanting spirals of “solenoid” create a detachment for a sonic trip through circling arpeggios and sparkles. on the flip side, we reconnect abyssy to the “young soulomon” of early 90’s by a warm and robotics dusty house. the mood turns definitely more freaky with “slomo kid”: sampling divertissement with a punkish flavour and emphatic rhythmics, it is the perfect tune to shake down the whole ball of wax.

following our n.d first album (spage age rituals - twl 001 on cd), we are now presenting our second vinyl, with an original from n.d and 3 tracks extracted from the space age rituals album and remixed by solenoid, vsk and kereni ! while the album presented n.ds most experimental works, this vinyl showcases his versatile weapon, and so did the remixers: an attack team that transformed the selected album tracks from transcendent monsters into dancefloor space-crafts. art work by roman graffiti artist deep masito75.
