tangram presents the second installment of ltgl’s limited 7” series for record store day 2017. this one features a brand new track by ltgl, called scribble. he’s been playing the song live in the past year(s), featured it in his boiler room set and it has become a sought after gem.

minimalistic art sublabel, 0000, kicks things off with scribble acid, an ep from man at the top, brayan valenzuela. title track scribble acid is a mixture of acid sounds and saturated kicks combined to create an industrial techno line. 0000 differs, highlighting the simpler sound of acid. error makes use of metallic percussion to devastating effect but is lined with pauses in all the right places to allow you to breathe.

kormacs latest release for scribble records sees him teaming up with old pal mc little tee for the ska driven >superhero< while the guitar and string laden >another screen< is a collaboration with literary great irvine welsh (trainspotting, the acid house, skagboys). >another screen< came about when kormac turned up on welshs edinburgh doorstep with the track written especially for him. rather than take out a restraining order the generous author took him in, fed and watered him and sent him home with the track complete. the result is a double header of contrasting styles that prove kormac is on a creative high.

in our everlasting effort to push the next generations from berlin s mininal house scene, we are very happy to feature a quite new artist for highgrade no. 46. marcus schatz, who already released on berlins oposum records, coproduced these two energetic trax with highgrads mastermind tom clark. two exceptional minimal house cuts, flirting on >scribble mania< with a slightly abstract wildpitch feel and on 2 >scribble shock< giving the berlin after hour crowd their well deserved accelaration- soundtrack with this minimalistic hypno house gift!
