vinyl version 2x12 inch lp (special edition) after having been released in cd and single ep format on prologue music (october 2012), outis music is proud to announce a new special edition of shamans paths - the complete album in a double-vinyl compilation (2x12 inch lp) coming out as a part of outis opera series.
the finnish tropical troupe maajo is back with a two-track ep. in contrast to the afro-balearic sound of their 2016 debut tropic of tulli, the new defo / mansaba ep is a step in a deeper and sometimes darker direction. defo kicks off the ep with a driving 5/4 rhythm. reminiscent of mark ernestus’ ndagga sounds, it is a tribal tune with maajo’s signature ethereal disco elements. trevor deep jr.’s version straightens out the original’s unconventional time signature and focuses on a four-to-four beat and plenty of berliner dub. the remix is a solid dancefloor tool, traversing the original like a train making its way through a dark rainforest. the b-side is entirely covered by mansaba, a 14-minute long journey into inwards. this studio jam, recorded largely live, is a wild mixture of polyrhythmic sequences, krautrock guitar licks, equatorial forest percussion and violin synths. the trip starts slow and soothing, sneakily picks up pace and keeps grow and growing, eventually exploding into a full-on tribal dance.
it’s a match made in heaven, techno veteran dino sabatini meets up and coming talent luigi tozzi, who over the last couple of years has delivered stellar eps for the likes of hypnus records, dynamic reflection, mental modern, and sabatini’s own outis music. anyone familiar with the two will know they share an aptitude for adventurous and evolving techno. this is crystallised in this collaboration, which doesn’t take the easy path of creating straightforward club tracks. instead, the three tracks on this release explore the subtler sides of the two producers. that’s not to say this isn’t club music - it is - but they have a lot more to offer than pure functionality. the ep opens with manticora. this eight-minute experience takes the listener through winding claustrophobia as ringing feedback pulses across the stereo field and cavernous rhythms dance about, hard to quite grab. these rhythms build to a point to which they solidify and fall into place, a point at which the track gains a feeling of propulsion, alongside shifting and emotive reverberations and resonances. next up is celeno, a track that slowly unravels under a backing of shuffling hats and a rolling kick drum. twinkling synths swirl around before giving way to a rhythmic and compelling melody. celeno’s musical themes continue into the third and final track, aello, which eases you in with softer drums while a haunting drone builds up. over this, ghostly arpeggios develop alongside weightier drums that carry the track through until the end, leaving just enough time for the drone to ring out and provide a fitting end to the ep.
after inaugurating the ‘opera’ sub-series of his outis music label with the sublime omonimo double lp this april, dino sabatini has invited some choice allies to help define the vocabulary and expand the vision of the new imprint. the aforementioned album, which wove together sabatini’s atmospheric conjuring skill with the piano flourishes of antonello salis, already exhibits the labels commitment to dismantling the either-or logic of contemporary genres by successfully merging a variety of supposedly irreconcilable styles, talents, and worldviews (e.g. both mythological and the technological perspectives). the follow-up ep, concentrica, draws on the material from omonimo and delivers it into the hands of additional remixers in order to continue the outis opera voyage.
dreiklang records set sail in february 2016 with the excellent first contact ep which featured och, hydergine and kelovolt, three singular artists each handing in their own contrasting take on the same source material. the berlin-based vinyl-only label now returns with the same concept for the loop continue ep.
as both a producer and the helmsman of the outis music label, dino sabatini has carved out a distinctive musical style that shows a great reverence for both ancient archetypes and future possibilities for change (see, for example, his mnemosyne co-release with edit select, in which each track is dedicated to a separate greek goddess).
• incl andres remix
• * sabato in pineta* is a track written by these 3 guys (cosimo colella, fabio liuzzi, carmine mongelli) after a great party between the woods of their favorite club, sound department. they capture the feelings and the emotions and write this track in few hours. the emotional impact is really strong, with a great work on surreal pads and trippy synths. the listener can be projected into the atmosphere of the club, but this is sure not only a dancefloor oriented work. andres, with his version, give us a great remix, with his usual amazing use of drums and deep and reminiscent pads. fabio della torre finish the ep with an high quality dub version, more raw and intense on the grooves.
luigi tozzi is a young roman artist just twenty-three years old but with a profound musical knowledge. his productions reflect the distinct musical style coming from the italian capital, a style purveyed by artists now considered icons within the international techno scene. its the direct link to this sound that aligns luigis music perfectly with the musical realm of outis music.
after the latest podcast of its series, for the next release outis music has chosen sardinian artists claudio prc and ness. both known previously for their solo projects, their collaborations, and also together as the gods planet they journey deep into remote sides of techno music. the affinity between concepts of their tgp project and dino sabatinis philosophy leads them to make their contribution to the label. icore is an obsessive and straight 4/4 track, where a hypnotic and synthetic arp floats into visceral and noisy atmospheres. beside the original, italian artist nuel give his dry and wild version, as well label boss dino sabatini complete the ep with a very deep and transcendental remix.
edit select and dino sabatini join forces together for her debut on motoguzzi records. the liaison of these two maestros leads us to a hypnotic and trippy journey through their musical minds. edit select comes with a serious driving floor piece and dino sabatini shows us his musical understanding with a deep floating shamanic approach. selected dj support: supported by: marcel dettmann, len faki, oscar mulero, dubfire, luke slater, cosmin trg, tommy four seven, Âme, james ruskin, ben sims, josh wink, sigha, simian mobile disco, lucy, angel molina, joris voorn, blawan, pangaea, speedy j...
label maker alberto sabatini drops a stellar spring grenade in the form of roboto (we are) on save the black beauty. having featured such renowned artists as fnm and sasse, it was time for sabatini to step into the spotlight with his own production. the introduction was made with his remix for sasses flushing meadows which showed his roots firmly to the italo & early proto house territory. now with roboto, sabatini takes an italo vibe and mixes it with contemporary house elements and creates a joyful, yet sinister late night belter. on the remix tip italian meister fabrizio mammarella who dips the original in disco sprinkles and lets the sun in
mnenosyne was the personification of memory, daughter of gaia and uranus, wife of zeus and the mother of the muses, goddesses of the arts. also this time an excellent collaboration with an artist for whom i have great esteem tony scott aka edit select. because of the magic of art that unites the whole world, i have had the pleasure of getting to know him personally during an amazing gig in paris in which we began to design a collaboration on some tracks. after our first collaboration survivors of the pulse released on edit selects prologue music lp phlox we decided to continue with another ep of three sick tracks that i have given the names of three muses according to my personal imagination.terpsichore - to the he goddess of dance id offer this track with its controversial rhythm and detailed sensual overtones.euterpe - goddess of music and in our case seen in terms of techno music, a mix of pure energy and imagination and this track i believe has these two features. deep, straight and hypnotic. urania - this track i would like to dedicate to the goddess of astronomy
it has always been one of my dreams reunite the old group of friends i met in the basement of rome and with whom i have begun the journey towards this adventure. today i am very happy to present this work made in collaboration with one of my closest friends and with whom i shared for long time studios, music, ideas, techniques and the mutual love for a good italian cuisine. i sincerely believe that donato dozzy does not need any introduction.
dino sabatini is not just a prologue artist having the first 12inch release in our catalogue, he is also one of the most authentic prologue artists who is responsible for providing the well known prologue sound aesthetic.
proteus: a solid, dynamic and linear track, with strong harmonic resonances and a slowly growing rhythmic in a hypnotic groove of atmospheres. definitely a dancefloor one!
nereus: this track has deeper mental space sensations in which hypnotic noise sequences travel smoothly in a crescendo of acid riffs.
first time only on decks.de !!! gianluca meloni - ostinate sin (original) - solid track, no mercy, obsessively sinusoidal but with intense harmonic colors growing through infinite, showing gianlucas long experience as musician and producer.
gianluca meloni - ostinate sin (dino sabatini remix) an erupting volcano maybe is the best way to define the crazy rhythmic of this remix, killer dynamics bass frequencies and psicoharmonic filter treatment over noise generated percussions shifting sound perception, to be used with care, to avoid dancefloor explosion!
the two tunes you find in this debut ep have been fully written and produced by dino sabatini in his studio in berlin. modulation a may be a perfect introduction for the journey. it is a dense, tense ride into a liquid atmosphere of a techno playground. far to be aggressive, though. go through it, and youll get the essence of outis label. modulation b can be taken as a tool, yet totally undependent by its brother. as a standalone track, it can bring the dancefloor into an evanescent state of ghostly fog, self-spreading all around you. but when played over another track, its capable of adding the spiral touch of a transparent radiation, like being in a boundless land youve never been before
sonic groove welcomes berlin based friend, italian born producer dino sabatini to its family of artists. dinos brand of hypnotic industrial tech noise hit the spot with many last year with his double ep daughter of phorsys on killer techno imprint prologue, germany, a killer release that many top techno dj supported. now for his first release of 2011 dino continues exploration into the dark side of the industrial techno sonic groove with his four track small step ep. a masterpiece of deep dark electronic music ranging from peak floor burners to dark deep mind burners that techno & industrial lovers from around the universe will surely love.

rmxs by krikor, pep gaya & tomas jirku the eight reference from the klitekture catalogue presents a work from the founder of the label, lod, that comes with a good critics since >sabado gris<, the original composition from this maxi was nominated as best track at the qwartz awards in paris on march of 2006. there is no doubt that we find lod with sabado gris in a great creative moment that he uses to offer a singular and emotive track, that plays with the repetitions of certain structures as well as he does with our emotions, the subtile melodies bring a great amount of serenity to the good listener
as both a producer and the helmsman of the outis music label, dino sabatini has carved out a distinctive musical style that shows a great reverence for both ancient archetypes and future possibilities for change (see, for example, his mnemosyne co-release with edit select, in which each track is dedicated to a separate greek goddess). with one foot planted in a mysterious past and the other foot planted in a world yet to arrive, sabatini’s works are carefully realized emotional journeys that intertwine shimmers of optimism with undercurrents of poignancy or nostalgia.
dinos productions always deliver exactly our vision of music: deep, hypnotic, atmospheric and mind-driven. its no surprise that we are more than proud to announce the third prologue album this year, which comes from our high respected mate from berlin.
luaka bop presents this album from contemporary brazilian legend kassin. one of the leading producers and instrumentalists in brazilian music, alexandre kassin has produced roughly 100 records for singers, including marisa monte and bebel gilberto, recorded with sean ohagan (stereolab, high llamas) and made a full album based on nintendo game boy sounds. he has played bass for caetano velosos live shows and conceptualized the orchestra imperial band. his new album, relax, is rooted in dreams and surrealism, yet grounded enough to reach listeners where they are. across 11 tracks, kassin flirts with latin rhythms, brazilian pop, and straight-ahead soul, using this varied stylistic array to tell imagined tales of death, drug usage, politics and fate. theres a dichotomy to relax, with kassins arrangements often feeling bright and danceable, yet with incredibly sullen themes. its a record that speaks directly to the yin and yang of everyday life, and the uncertainty that comes with simply existing.
