number 018 is a collaboration between christopher rau & hakim murphy. during the many times that they have met, the topic of politics always came up and conversation. with all the problems in the world, the title of the 12” was formed: geopolitical problems yet to be solved. this four track ep symbolizes the differences of the world culture’s with its diverse track selection. liquid synths, bouncing percussion, and variety of feels really describe this project. the problems of the world will never be solved but this is their take on what the problems sound lik

the guys from audision are back with their next release in coloured vinyl! they produced chimes 1 for their live-set and it was much appreciated by the crowd. their new syntie roland jd 800 sounded crystal clear in their studio, but when they practiced for their live set in frankurt last year, all of a sudden it played a different sound … this was a magic moment which had to be recorded at once. the typcial audision device is: let the machines do the talking. and that is the also the story of chimes 2 *away* was the beatless track from their last years release up & away. so no one else but gez varley aka g-man created a dancefloor monster out of it. where can we start, when we talk about such a genius like gez varley. he was co-founder of the legendary lfo (warp records) duo. he wrote music history with his partner mark bell. under his solo project g-man, he released on labels like wir, i220, force inc or swim. *quo vadis* is still one of the most important all-time favourite techno tracks. last but not least a typical rough and deep house mix came out of christopher raus machines. the smallville member released on labels like, pampa, derive, aim, mule… and delivered a great track for this wonderful release. all in all - a must have!

christopher rau has been impressing people since a while! here three tracks that impressed the junk yard connections crew a while ago on a mix tape, not knowing what it was, or who it was! finally they tracked down its origins and found out that it was unreleased tracks by christopher! now finally these tracks see the day light! inter alia, *the green bean*, which has some of that sexy swampy house vibe like theo parrish or stl can do. on the flip its *some song* with its more techier vibe, somehow with an atmosphere reminding of model 500s classic starlight. and last but not least the b2 track no chatter with its up beat house vibe. amazing tracks that are the first tracks on the label from outside the jyc crew. tracks that are here to stay on valuable wax. another cool junk yard connections release.

the debut release of christopher rau on mule musiq. christopher rau have released from such a amazing label like smallville records or dj kozes pampa. he is definetly one of the best artist in the modern deep house scene. title track on a side is quite unique deep house tune. its like a collaboration of larry heard and dj koze. on b side, >that dam love< is already picked up for mule label compilation >im starting to feel ok vol.5< this track is his trademark melancholic house tune. >balance live< is more minimal&alternative.

excellent 4 track vinyl with fantastic deep house. it gets started with >spring loop<, a track that looks to its name both for feeling and production sense. of course that sensuous vocal sample that gets drawn through it wouldnt do the job on its own, but rau knows that too and surrounds it with a warm, humid bassline and his always changing and snapping drums to keep it in the pocket for the whole 5 minutes. even though the groove on the a1 is already heavy for him, he goes deeper yet with >swearing (vinyl version)< that jamaican vocal is something so classic that we wont spoil it here, but the pumping house beat and piano stabs he winds around it give even more poignancy to the lyrical substance… we are pretty sure that by the time he finally echoes the vocal out late in the track there will be some hands in the air for this one
