seit 30 jahren ist randall bramblett als musiker t§tig, er spielte bei the allman brothers band, chuck leavell, traffic, robbie robertson, steve winwood und rick fowler. zudem hat er ?ber zehn solo-alben ver¸ffentlicht. mit seinem neuen album -juke joint at the edge of the world- k?ndet er vom verschwinden einer musikalischen kultur. juke joints afroamerikanische kneipen in denen musiker zusammenkommen konnten, um vor publikum live zu improvisieren, sind so gut wie ausgestorben. um zumindest dem charakter der improvisation gerecht zu werden, spielte randall bramblett diese r&b-und blues-st?cke live im studio ein.

scrambled rhythms features two original classic house tracks from the outstanding hector moralez alongside two brutal remixes. the real house gangster dj sneak is guilty of an acid interpretation of ten 30 one 33 , while the prolific artist tuccillo completes the b side of the release with a different approach to scrambled rhythms . roush continues with the hard work while we expect you love our first vinyl press as much as we do.

kurbits 004 marks the return of dan andrei who brings the romanian dirt with two dusty, percussive techno tools. first out on the label side is ramble on, an old school house rhythm. driven by a shaker in a jacking groove and topped off with a rambling vocal about nothing at all, because after all these vocals about >house music<, whats left to say? just put the track on and get the groove on! four sticks on the info side is a straight up techno banger built on a rolling house groove. no funny business, just a sublime percussion workout with little but essential hints of melody to let you catch your breath, then straight back to the groove! we sincerely hope youll have as much pleasure with these tracks as we are. well be back soon with new and exciting rhythms. happy mixing!
