burning rose and pelvis records meet in the middle to dish up dormir, a two piece machine from melbourne, australia featuring morgan wright (formerly of melbourne hardcore act imprisoned) and harry maslen (formerly of postblue). two tracks of blacked out vocal electronics originally released on cassette are now brought to the floor with remixes by leo james (canyons, berceuse heroique) and cop envy (opal tapes, templar sound). cover art by misha hollenbach (p.a.m.) squares the corners on this all australian slab of sound.

the first in a series from pelvis records, dj tools volume 1 features an all-australian lineup of artists across 6 tracks. varying in tempo and moods, this first round comes courtesy of sam weston, mall grab, chunyin, body corp, jamie blanco and pelvis. from flat out percussion jams to four-to-the-floor acid, these are tracks to get you out of tight spots (or take you deeper into them).

after beginning as a sydney club night in 2012, pelvis is readying its first release of original music on the new pelvis records imprint. entitled dance freak anthem, its a 4 track 12inch with an original from the crew at its core. reworks from label heads dj haus (unknown to the unknown, uk) and dj nozaki (10 inches of pleasure, japan) sit alongside the pelvis original and another fresh take on the track from australias very own mall grab. other releases from pelvis include a dance freak mixtape, split with nys venus x (ghe20g0th1k) and released on limited edition cassette.

nachdem temporär die special edition des soundtracks erhältlich war (anderes coverartwork, pink gefärbtes vinyl), kehren invada nun mit dieser neuauflage zu dem ursprünglichen design des soundtracks zurück. sprich es ist auf dem cover wieder die rückenansicht von ray gosling in seiner silberfarbenen skorpion-jacke zu sehen. damit es nicht langweilig wird, ist das 140g schwere vinyl nun so gefärbt: frosted clear with multi-coloured splatter . das gatefold-cover rundet diese edition ab. -drive- gehört zu den populärsten scores der letzten jahre. die mischung aus elektronischer pop-musik (unter der leitung/produktion der chromatics) und dem elektronischem soundtrack (von cliff martinez, ex- red hot chilli peppers) geht wunderbar auf und verbindet sich treffsicher mit den suggestiven bildern des films.
