the masterful trio of timo mass, basti grub and eric volta showcase their combined musical muscle on the latest release forthcoming on supreme berlin imprint, mobilee. with an impressive remix package featuring rodriguez jr. and tiefschwarz. over two years in the making, we were riding high is a lucid after-hours track with an uplifting and catchy vocal hook that unfolds and develops fluidly. the alternative edit utilises dark synths and drums, retaining the positivity that make this track perfect for the last summer month. this record is the result of eric volta making the demo at an after-party at his studio. he then showed this to timo mass who in turn showed it to basti grub who loved the track so much, they were inspired to develop it. two time grammy nominated timo maas has an extensive musical background, spanning over thirty years. hes worked with some of the worlds biggest stars including madonna, depeche mode and fatboy slim. basti grub heads up his own label, höhenregler, and is known for his exotic, african-influenced productions. hes released on some premium labels including cocoon, get physical, desolate and cr2. born in london but very well traveled, eric volta shot into the spotlight with love your illusion and since releases on dirtybird, visionquest, four:twenty recordings among others.
in the third of the phobiza trilogy we are invited through the ethereal haze that separates our world from ramzis flourishing kindom. guided always by the deitys music, we are given passage through the arcane archipelago that ramzi calls home, a place where animals, children and wild spirits share territories and cooperate in harmony in their plight to protect these ancient islands from the ceaseless threat of the great grey invasion. with the night closely following us, we are welcomed to these lands in dusks light, with the warm tones of bibwel (featuring asaël robitaille on synth) carrying us across 11 different islets, all with unique climates, flora and fauna. after travelling for many a sunrise and sunset we take pause at mid day on det calash isle (with some beats provided by regular fantasy). we ending our journey with a final sunset, this time on the foggy island of warhasu (recorded on vancouver island with hashman deejay). amor fati (meaning love of fate or love of ones fate in latin) comes as the inaugural release on phoebés own fati records and is the new nesting place for ramzi and its extended family. the record ends the phobiza story, following phobiza dia on total stasis and phobiza noite on moodhut.

following the cover version of ohnuki taekos carnaval, we made the new version of japanese new wave classic shinzo no tibia by mariah with a new lyrics in japanese (original is in armenian) which is written by miyako koda. yasuaki shimizu kindly gave us the permission to do this.
extended version on a side is full of the respect for the original version and dub version on b side is dark new wave dub version. kuniyuki said the idea of this version came from adrian sherwoods remix for depeche mode.
