for our 4th release we welcome romanian artist mihigh.

mihigh & lizz teamed up, creating a clearly defined narrative on the launch of the 12-inches melodrom label, where the close, sometimes ambiguous details are incredible. the ep is loaded with the style of both producers: it combines mihigh’s minimalist sound with a strong attention to stylistic details and lizz’s trademark groove.

mihigh steps up for tlr006 and in mihighs true fashion brings his usual dark flavour to trapped ldn. mihigh is known for his head bending, dark, trippy erie minimal style and he has once again delivered with this evil 2 track ep. mirrors is a mix of driving minimal and dark atmospheric sounds which gives you a great after party style of track but could also be blended into a maintime set. mutual contemplation is our personal favourite which can be used as both a tool, a warm up track or an after party track. its crazy trippy leading synth keeps you entertained throughout the whole track and sounds like it was created to mess up anyones mind while at a party. we are super happy to have mihigh in the trapped family as he has been one of our favourites at various festivals we have seen him

the first release from midi records romania, simply entitled *primu*, sets the tone for things to come, as it uncompromisingly proposes a double 12 inch package featuring 4 pieces from our local heroes mihigh, arapu, barac, priku and sepp. pressing on 180 gram vinyl, housed in gatefold sleeve.

takashi himeoka joins our label with a deep house masterpiece reinterpreted from mihigh on the b side for more minimalistic feelings.

i ve been inspired by the seasons, sounds of nature, the stars and the phases of the moon. observing these elements helps me realize that i am such a small piece of this universe. with all this in mind i began producing a 4 season album series.
we start off with hokkori shiyo - which in japanese means *smoking a joint together with friends*. this is an organically composed production which synchronizes with the elements.
my father recorded his own natural frequency and you can hear his defining voice during this track, combined with the frogs from a lake.
