for its tenth anniversary, killekill decided it is worth to resurrect the main label and bring it back in full effect with another compilation of tracks by our beloved family members, favorite artists and bestest friends. cat. number 020 was never released, and we thought, this celebratory occasion was perfect to fill that gap, so everything is cleared, and we can step into the next decade. we start off with a track by mmm, the legendary duo consisting of fiedel and errorsmith, known for pushing the boundaries with every of their very rare releases. this one is an extremely simple, but effective weapon to destroy all dancefloors with its slightly loutish appeal. neil landstrumm got together with brian rays and produced a bleeper hit with catchy vocals. we don t know who the lyrics refer to, but they definitely express a punky fuck-off attitude, which we are missing a lot nowadays.

the raw jacking sexiness of ghetto house has always played a big role in the killekill universe. so its high time to put out our first release which goes that direction. italian andrew soul is an artist we have been watching for a while already. when he sent the demo with the extremely raw and dirty tunes that you find on the a-side of this 12inch, the decision was easy: killer stuff which makes you bounce immediately we want to put this out! the b-side comes from dirtbox, who is also one half of snuff crew and therefore has been part of the killekill family for a while already. actually almost from the start. being the musical wizard he is, he can not only make house and acid music and anything else you could think of, but also class a ghetto house. maybe even more classic than andrew souls side but ranging from the percussive style of smmfd and work that to the raw energy of fukk it is definitely in no way less original. shake dat ass!

telekinesis is a vinyl only record label. we are in the process of researching the impact of musical alchemy. inspired by the art and history of illusionists of the 19th - 20th century, creating the rich atmosphere in each release. the first release opens mikhail maksimov aka meeshoo. 4 tracks of warm house cuts, full of deep analogue basslines and pads, chunky percussive elements and dusty vintage background sounds.

killekill house trax is going strong – this time with a 4-tracker by the incredible andreas gehm. he sent us the music shortly before his death and said we could pick any of his artist names and his only condition was that the music was released on vinyl. only after his death we realized that he had obviously already taken a decision then… so we are releasing this record now as an homage to one of the most creative and funniest persons in the electronic universe of the last decade. the ep includes all his typical styles and ranges from hard jacking acid house over weirdo electro house to old school chicago- leaning piano house. a timeless record for all situations. may you rest in peace, andreas, and thanks for still rocking our floors, even when you are long gone!

bristol beat physicist second storey joins the fold of electro dystopians trust, and telekinesis via fax picks right up where recent releases for houndstooth and his r&s collaboration with appleblim, also, left off. attack of the modlings has deceptively lush pads launch into an industrial grime furor that relentlessly underscores second storey s ambition to sonically innovate. vienna s /dl/ms/, coming right off their recent trust debut, reassemble the bits into a subtly layered electro funk banger, before second storey steps back onto the plate with the eternally spiralling -quantock point to point- and -telekinesis via fax-, the latter evoking memories of robert gordon s afro-futurist black knight project with hyperkinetic snares and free-wheeling synth licks.

kht 008 is coming from no less than the man who is called * the prince of techno* by his peers. and that is for a reason: blake was part of the first wave of detroit techno artists and dis and contributed to the techno movement from the mid 80s. tracks like “when a dream becomes u” or “our love” are milestones of electronic music, his style, which he calls “poetry and rhythm” is distinctive. for killekill house trax he delivers the acid life ep which comes along with two strong, acid driven tracks, the a-side darker and more chicago-oriented with its rhythmical focus and the punchy kick, the b-side more detroit-ish with its uplifting chords. timeless!

we are proud to have dug out these two bomb tracks from the 90&#8242,s by manchester legend kid simmons. for some weird reasons these tracks were never released, but here we go now: 2 funky house bombs that will make you bounce and jump like there was no tomorrow. expect more to come from the archives of this man!

dj spider & franklin de costa come along with a massive follow-up of their first single on killekill (cat number 016). second bass on the a-side is a bomb of a track with its jazzy beats, otherworldly strings and a bassline straight out of hell. comsume is even more otherworldly with its stumbling, shuffling beat and a spaced-out vocal sample taken from an unnamed sci-fi movies from the 50s. coffee break, the last track of the ep, is a deadlock groove of heavy beats and freaky breaks, that leaves you lost in time and space.

following eomac’s debut album “spectre” on killekill, released earlier this year, here come remixes of the three most outstanding track sof the album. tommy four seven picked the title track spectre, taking away some of the dense texture of the original, speeding it up a bit and adding some straight-forward percussion to turn the original into a big anthem for the mellow moments on the dancefloor. lars stöwe aka anstam is using his anno stamm-alias to rip the distorted bassline of the grimey su riddim out and add some playful bassline variations and some serious 808 business to it to turn it into a peaktime banger with lots of chicago flavour. and do what they do best and turn shell of dark into a half-tempo stomper that after a while breaks up to a devastating weapon of distorted drums and melodies.

after releases on john osbourne’s label tanstaafl bill youngman once again rips it off for killekill with our catalog number 019.from straight forward, hard hitting techno as in levitate he crosses over to the typical youngman style 2-step/techno hybrid as in magnetic. broken beats and playful me- oldies as in teardrop turns to solid are definitely not new to him, but the combi-nation of these two elements, as we find it here, definitely is. a beautiful masterpiece that works for the lonely hours as well as for the peaktime dancefloors.

killekill is proud to present eomac’s “spectre”, the debut album from dublin-based producer ian mcdon- nell, a rising star in the techno scene. spectre also marks the label’s first full-length album release. ian is better-known as half of the irish duo lakker and this album is certainly carved from the same cold slab of stone. his music has already gained huge support from the likes of tommy four seven, ellen allien, thom yorke and the one and only aphex twin himself. bleepy, slo-mo synth lines, dense textures, saturated bassdrums and hand-sliced vocals dunked in cavern- ous reverb – spectre is all about eomac doing what he does best, taking our concepts of club sound and contorting them into something that is truly his own. the melodies are slo-mo and lo-fi, the pads, exquisitely lush and textured. ian’s amazing sound-design (bordering on the intense in some places) and incredible attention to detail makes this an album where each listen reveals a deeper layer. spatters of noise, shards of broken beat and relentlessly pounding techno rhythms also make it a dancefloor-decimating weapon.

we are happy to welcome nyc based dj spider and berlin based franklin de costa in the killekill family. for catalog number 016 these two heavy weights of contemporary house music have joined forces to genetically modify their original sound and deliver 4 superdark and driving tools on the verge between techno and house – straight into the hands of the daring dj.

cassegrain & tin man are a deadly combination. old school acid lines programmed by one of the greatest masters in this field meet a super modern techno sound design by cassegrain, who have made themselves a name in the last years for producing some of the finest in dark and experimental techno. for the follow up to their debut release on killekill they have put together three tracks that are outstand- ing. high & low is a slowly swelling minimalistic acid epos of over 10 minutes length which proves the mas- tership of tin man in programming acid loops of eternal quality. 8 beats length only, but constantly evolving. no chance for boredom. the b-side starts with sex kit, a dark acid stomper with a chirping percussion which is well suitable for the peaktime dancefloor, followed by sand maze, a sublte minimalistic ambient acid piece, that winds its way into total dissolution. we are quite sure that this is the way acid should sound in 2013.

hitsafe are a duo of established producers operating under an enigmatic moniker. nothing new, you might say, and that is true. the music is so outstanding and unusual though, that in this case this approach really does make sense. serious jaw-work is funk in its purest form. and we mean real funk! wonder how many djs will have the guts and abilities to play this one out…to round this release up, we asked lopazz and casio casino for a remix and these guys came up with two! both are so good, we couldnt make a choice. so here we go with both of them on this release. the jack remix on a2 is a functional tech housy Überhit, suitable for all peaktime house floors, the jane remix on the b-side is a moodymanesque version with a strong ludicruous tendency, that has all necessary qualities to become a timeless epic. massive!

kht 002 comes from affie yusuf, a longtime legendary producer from london, who has released tons of tracks solo and in groups on labels such as ferox, force inc and many more. meeting affie yusuf for the first time via internet was like meeting an old friend. a sympathy for the devil was our common sense and after hearing some of his unreleased music it was obvious we needed to get closer. for his first release on killekill he has sent us so many good tracks it was not easy for us to compile the first release. but here we go now with the >i m free ep<, a 12 inch full of house as we like it. raw as shit and full of fun, funk and energy!
