auf ihrem zweiten gemeinsamen album -imagori ii- zeigen hans-joachim roedelius (harmonia, cluster) und christoph h. müller (gotan project) neue facetten ihrer zusammenarbeit. die zwölf stücke pendeln zwischen zartheit und scharfen kanten, zwischen science fiction und garten eden, lassen organische klangkörper aufkommen, die sich wieder fragmentieren, erschaffen stimmungen zwischen melancholie und euphorie, stets begleitet von jenem filmischen pathos roedelius , der ohne große gesten auskommt und vielmehr die grenzen des minimalismus auslotet. auffällig oft kommt dabei auch sprache zum einsatz, so zum beispiel in der ersten single -fractured being-, der miss kenichi alias katrin hahner ihre stimme leiht.

theus mago comes from mexico city, his light is a harness of levitation escalating beyond the galactic thin air. stars collid-ing, feeding off the dust of unknown ashes risen from the earth and sand in resolve. doog offers eerie and optimistic vocals to the disconcerting yet comfortably soothing waves of theus magos ella and smokey red lights. the french duo il est villaine journey ella to the obscure and swung out dimensions, while arthur johnson brings his guitar and synth-laden attitude from the shadows to the brightest dance floor on his mix. dreams can be so weird sometimes.

die kooperation zwischen roedelius und müller entstand nach einer gemeinsamen konzertreihe 2012 in paris - mit weitgehend improvisierten auftritten. entstanden ist nun mit *imagori* ein album, das dem bisherigen werk beider musiker ein völlig neues kapitel hinzufügt. das album erscheint auf pink transparentem vinyl.
