the a-side, “flamboyant move” is a fitting nod to one of the best rappers ever, a classic sample (james gilstrap’s “move me”) cut up with boom gap drums. if l were still alive, he’d be dropping daps. the b-side is a reworking of “i don’t understand” is a massive flip of the sister sledge’s “easier to love”, moved up to a nice dance tempo, with, of course the patented dusty donuts pro-duction treatment. you’ll be dropping the needle over and over on this updated and supercharged edit. so get on the subway and take a trip from uptown to bk with this new joint from the dusty donuts crew. marc hype & naughty nmx reflip these classics in such a tasteful and dope way, your audience will love it.

brooklyn s son of sound joins hometown label razor-n-tape with the dusty files ep, a 4-tracker that embodies the gritty and driving sound of the borough. the a-side kicks off with your voodo s broken, a track that builds to mid-tempo looped perfection even before the floor-shaking bass drops, followed by the beguiling synth patterns and efficient yet driving drums of no bullets left. on the flip side, nude jerzee eschews the bridges and tunnels and takes us straight to nj by way of outer space, and then what do you feel floats us gently back to earth on a cloud of strings, electric pianos and a chugging disco beat

the album a little comedy, a little drama by dusty baron is the result of collaboration of moldavian fellows eugen kara, ivan slivka and dima scripnic. this collaboration has been lasting in the course of 2016, with miscellaneous recordings at home studios, including moldavian radio and television studio. inspired by french and italian psychedelic electronic music of 60s and 70s, cartoons and the comedian genre of absurd, the trio tried to incarnate their vision of the space into a lp comprising 13 tracks. vintage synthesiser lines and classic drum machines create a hugely entertaining blend intoxicated with universal love. now and then you trace the combinations of techno rhythms rushing into the futuristic vertical, and sometimes the sound transforms into a blend of absolute and exotically influenced reverie.
