dapayk solo, berlin based producer and veteran of the minimal techno scene, announces the release of his 10th studio album the calling. this latest project will be the producers first solo album since 2015. the 8-track double 12inch lp will be available via dapayk solos label mos ferry productions and comes with a free download voucher. the first track on this lp the calling shares its name with the album and starts off with a pang of energetic, chopped beats before exploding into a brassy melody, continuously gaining momentum. blackout immediately announces itself as a next generation detroit house anthem. the rolling synths, hi hats, and vocals make this one of the most outstanding tracks on the album.aurora stays true to its name with a buildup composed of throbbing ethereal synths that give the track an otherworldly vibe. flood transports listeners to the dancefloor with its pulsating bassline combined with komplements quaint vocals. the second part of the album begins with after all, one of the most enticing tracks on the album. it combines the groovy rhythm of four to the floor percussion with tantalizing vocals by vars before low tinnitus reverts to dapayks signature minimalist sound. the transition into wanderer continues the momentum built up by the previous tracks. the closing walk with me is a deep-house jam that features a rhythmic shaker layered under mental bends powerful vocals. dapayk solo, alias niklas worgt, isnt afraid to try new things.
douglas greeds (freude am tanzen, bpitch) first ep for noir music. and as he really likes when a man sings on a track he features kuss and gjaezon for each track. remix works are coming from dapayk (mos ferry, stil vor talent) and einzelkind & robin scholz (cecille, kindisch, off).
always keep moving, never stand still a motto that dapayk & padberg have been following consistently for more than ten years in every respect. for nearly three decades sought-after musician, producer and machine enthusiast niklas worgt has researched diverse club sound effects with countless projects, while singer eva padberg is an internationally renowned high fashion model. since 2003 they have been traveling and performing together as dapayk & padberg. they are passionate sound nomads who capture acoustic impressions of their exciting journey. each album is a sound logbook, which captures memories in the form of beats, tunes and skits. on sink this ship, released a few months ago, the berlin-based duo provided a first glimpse of what you can expect from dapayk & padberg in 2017, with their new album harbour. a harbour, where both stop off for the moment, because their next trip is already planned: after the release of harbour, dapayk & padberg tour europe and row.
with the release of their last album “smoke” (2013) dapayk & padberg moved to a listening oriented direction, that also works perfectly off the dance floor. the new single “sink this ship” underlines their decision to follow this path in the future … maybe even with their upcoming album “harbour” later this year. on “sink this ship” eva padberg unfolds her matured voice, which shows more confidence than on previous records. dapayk skillfully puts her voice in a common scenery, where the straight beats are long over and where is space for extravagances and inventiveness. however, this is not a radical change turning away from the club sound. two of the most sought-after remixer artists at the moment, robot koch and bebetta, ensure the suitability for the dance floor. robot koch skillfully disassembles (for which he is known) the original. primarily he builds his version on the emotional base of eva’s vocal part and dapayk’s warm bass line. however, on the flip side, there is almost a contrasting change. the slight melancholy of the original track gives way for a typical bebetta techhouse beat, that flows through the club in a dreamy, yet simply irresistible manner.
mos ferry, roland europe and dapayk proudly present the transformation remix contest winner ricky ambilotti. his remix got most of the votes in the final one-out-of-five public voting. and now it runs on the a side of mos ferrys 80th vinyl record. a reworked version from minimal techno beard-o marek bois on the b side completes the pictures. this is a perfect follow-up on dapayk solos well acclaimed album >nofilter<
berlin based label mos ferry prod. is celebrating the release of the 4th studio album by their very own dapayk solo. titled #nofilter. since 1996 producer niklas worgt is regarded as one of the most creative and versatile protagonists of europes club scene. several projects for his label mos ferry prod., like the i love vinyl- festival or the work on new dapayk & padberg releases have kept him busy during the last 5 years. but finally he came around to spend some solo time in the studio
mos ferry presents dapayk solos new double a-side single transformation. this is not only a two track preview of his upcoming album nofilter, but also a return to his roots of experimental ways and angularity in his production. but dont worry, this record is anything but old dapayk says: its more reduced, more analog and dirtier than anything i have ever done before.
following the success of their fourth studio album smoke and touring for over a year dapayk & padberg felt ready to release the single come out. their brand new track is fresh and present, making it the perfect tool to dance into spring and get rid of thick winter clothing. on the b side the berlin-based electronic duo presents two more album remixes. the pole mooryc wraps the title track smoke in his fragile, soulful and bass-driven slow-mo-electronica. dublin s eomac extends the list of silent fireworks remixes. a deep wobbling sub bass combined with broken beats and spheric pad sounds give the original an eccentric touch of dubstep.
dapayk always delivers. with over the top and orwo the mos ferry label boss polished the prettiest grapes taken from his current liveset. he comes up with four version, each of them with a special focus on the vinyl.
TO THE MOON AND BACK WITH MR. STYLES (LTD 10 INCH)
10" Vinyl D24.02.15
*to the moon and back* - the a side of this fenou #22 record is taken from douglas greeds *fenou bouquet vol.3* compilation. the b side *mr. styles* is one of the unreleased goodies by dapayk solo and fits this mini compilation just perfectly. as usual the release comes as a 10 inch vinyl release in a limited edition and numbered by hand.
dapayk & padberg welcomes the autumn season with layers. the original version on their 2013 longplayer smoke is a delicately written piece of slowly evolving poetry, that now is wrapped in deep interwoven coats. the new clubby layer 3 version by dapayk & padberg is haute musique, that not only leaves a warm shiver in your head but also salt on your skin.
now, with the release of the first remixes the berlin-based duo as well as renowned artists from the mos ferry label family serve the dancefoor, again. since the release of the album their track >silent fireworks< has been a candidate for a 12inch single. and a remix by marek hemmann and another edit by dapayk complete this vinyl perfectly.
KEEPIN IT REAL (NICONE & PHILIP BADER RMX / COLOURED VINYL ONLY)
12" Vinyl coloured D12.03.14
vinyl only! first edition in special black & white split-colour design! dapayk solo hits hard on the head with >keepin it real<. nicone & philip bader use up the full length of the flip for their remix. every inch of this side is filled with an evolving deephouse version of dapayks original.
after the last singles, fenou presents 20 as a split ep again. the a-side cut is flled with strings and boxers by dapayk solo. built on a gentle but quite hypnotic analog beat, epic strings and harp sounds unfold next to stylistically confdent electronica instruments, which mutually offer space to be returned in the next part.
ROLL DOWN THE SHUTTERS FEAT SASHA PERERA (DAPAYK, DAZE MAXIM RMXS)
12" Vinyl D12.11.13
mr. statik is back on mos ferry with his new ep roll down the shutters. and he got massive support from sasha perera (jahcoozi). she performed the laid-back vocals on this release. remixes by dapayk and daze maxim complete the package - but enough with the name dropping. the original track shows influences in dub, but with an elegant touch.
while >sweet nothings< was a balancing act between clubsound and listening-electronica the duo is now turning its back on the dancefloor, to take the listener on an accustic tour through their personal amber room. with their chamber-electro mix, containing characteristics of dubstep, catchy pop-elements, classical string arrangements and and a singer/songwriter like intimacy, they achieve to create new sound-rooms
in september 2013 mos ferry presents the fourth album smoke by dapayk & padberg. after their last album sweet nothings on stil vor talent in 2012 with its summery-funky sound the duo is now opening the door to a gloomy-melancholic world. dapayk & padberg consciously turn their back on the dancefloor and abandon the formerly typical balancing act between club sound and listening electronica. even though the a side of the present single is certainly made for the djs, it shall be the sole exception to their current creative path. the down-tempo version of smoke on the b side already reveals the new dapayk & padberg uneasy listening mixture.
all 10 releases + brand new dpk11!! dapayk solo is a studio workaholic and he strikes a blow for vinyl. in 2009 he started his very own vinyl only series called dpk, next to his well established labels mo s ferry, fenou and rrygular. the idea was to present vinyl in striking colours as a special format for his liveset tracks and beloved edits by artists such as format:b, super flu, sascha braemer and jon hester. it s a feast for the eyes and the ears all in one. now, four years later and after reaching #10 of the series, dapayk decided to compile all tracks in a collectors box. in addition to the previously released records he also included the brand new dpk #11 with a remix by aka aka. this big bundle contains 23 tracks and ranges from minimalistic to funfair tunes and also some edgy b-sides.

the last time patrick vano appeared on mos ferry was a remix for jedi jet in the beginning of 2013. and the new year seems to be a changing point in his career. before that patrick released under his nickname peddy, which is - to be honest - no longer appropriate
mooryc simply was the opening track of fenou bouquet vol.2 mix compilation last autumn. the pole whos now living in berlin impresses here especially with the brilliant vocal part. his track is lovingly arranged and embedded in a harmonious sound collage and the underlaid beats try to permeate everyone with their massive drums. stop thinking, let go.. the perfect slowing
dapayk with a new freaky solo project on snork enterprises. three tracks which are out of a snorky evil underground world, dark, groovy and distorted. dapayk with a new freaky solo project on snork enterprises
special limited coloured vinyl only release! dominator und sick of all this sind analoge floorbomben aus dapayks computerlosen maschinen-liveset für das i love vinyl open air 2012. groovt, frickelt und rollt
there is no place like home. that is exactly what dapayk & padberg had in mind after they released their new album at the beginning of the year. now they reveal their next ep on mo’s ferry. dont sleep lives up to its name. due to this pushing track everyone jumps remote-controlled on the dance floor and the idea of falling asleep has no chance to enter your head. plus, there’s a cherry on the cake: a remix by tiefschwarz.
REMIXED (RYAN DUPREE,ARIEL CURTIS TERRY REMIX, DAPAYKS CLUB EDIT)
12" Vinyl D28.08.12
released in february, dapayk & padbergs sweet mnothings lp showcased an impressive grasp of contemporary electronic music, designed for headphones and dancefloors alike. now, six months later, stil vor talent delivers a remix package that presents the reworks of competition winners ariel curtis and dry/wet dreams, as well as remixes by ryan dupree and dapayk himself.
nice price deal !!! jeahmon already teamed up as dj act in 2006. according to their past releases on ostwind, pimprinella and natura viva we are proud to present the first single on their own imprint jeahmon! here you will find only the finest selection in deeper tech and house beats! as we love 12 vinyl, we strictly keep on pressing the beautiful black stuff with an additional super tasty & hand made full cover. special thanks to niklas worgt alias dapayk who put his fingers on the title track, catching the vibe for a more clubby outfit! so guys, whos gonna be a ningelprinz???
a couple of months after the release of sweet nothings, dapayk & padberg are once again treating the vinyl-heads amongst us to a 12? consisting of a sunny selection of the albums core material, just in time for spring. kicking off the a-side, berlin summer nights is nothing short of an anthem: classic rave sounds of epic proportions glide through an arrangement of bouncy beats, crisp percussive work and hopeful vocals until a powerful breakdown delivers the hands-in-the-air moment. this year, summer has come early. next up, the sun came up bedazzles with a pumping beat and robotic vocals, while a progressive synth lead helps along the track’s love lyrics, turning this into a truly stunning musical moment, which already proved its power at sweet nothings’ heart. on the flip, dapayk & padberg present the albums opener, the trippy too lazy. here, were dealing with a rather brooding afterhours number that is equal parts paranoid and mesmerising as a wonky bass vibrates under dubbed out pads, eerie synths and vocal whispers. the perfect antidote to the cheery a-side!
in advance of the release of dapayk & padbergs third full-length sweet nothings - this time round on stil vor talent - the experienced duo are teasing us with the fluffy cloud ep, which showcases three of the album’s many diverse highlights, while keeping the vinyl lovers happy. the a-side bears the lps title track >sweet nothings<, on which dapayk & padberg’s sound takes a turn as they come knocking with a deep but forceful groover, whose distorted high-hats and trancey synth stabs create a vibe both euphoric and weirdly subdued. the lyrics, moreover, emphasise the duality at the core of many dapayk & padberg tracks as the latter ponders ‘you’re good for me - you’re bad for me’. showing another of the duo’s many facets, ‘backyard’ enchants thanks to mystical lyrics sung beautifully over a deep quasi-dubstep structure. marking the ep’s mid-point, the atmospheric song shines through intricately crafted fragility and is the perfect contrast to the previous and following track, while leaving a strong desire for more stuck in the listener’s mind. on the b-side, ‘fluffy clouds’ does quite the opposite to what its title suggests - rather than being a soft little piece, we are treated to big-room techno fodder à la berghain. a skeletal framework of heavy kicks, dark pads, white noise and dense metallics works relentlessly underneath a cold spoken word, proclaiming >not human, not animal - just a body in motion<. machine funk par excellence.
now black vinyl! wow great two tracker on dapayks imprint .. incl strong format b remix on side b .. as always on ltd purple vinyl --> a side is the first single from dapayk s upcoming album -decade one-
mos ferry release #57 is a vinyl re-release of two true classics from the label catalogue. dapayk & padbergs >island< is a special result of a collaboration with the american singer and producer caro. the original track came out in 2007 on their second album >black beauty<. but the choice for this record is the >swimming circles remix< by the parisian dj and producer duo noze (of circus company and get physical fame). originally released on the b side of >black beauty rmxs pt.2< the remix developed into a prominent long runner for the artists and the label. in 2005 >emergency< by dapayk & midnight marked the birth of mos ferrys first sublabel fenou. the 10inch record was released as a limited edition of 1.000 copies, each stamped by hand with a consecutive number. this first and only edition is out of stock for years now and if you are lucky you can buy a rare copy on discogs. reason enough to bring this track on a new mos ferry vinyl release.
party girl grows from a a collaboration between 2 artists coming from different fields in music. niconote brought her voice and indie-soul stylings to limos club production sound. the release is completed with hot remixes by dapayk, guido nemola and dachshund. this simply but very cute and intense spleen made party girl be here! enjoy!
