secretsundaze return with ss016 - dj qus mighty ss1 ep. secretsundaze and qu have developed a special relationship with him playing at many of their parties in london but also at their events in the likes of new york, berlin and barcelona. a full 3 track ep on a label outside of his own strength music is rare for dj qu so its serious coup for secretsundaze.
all killer no filler from dj qu and underground quality boss dj jus ed. both artists take a side each and on dj qus side you can find some quality old school adonis style bass lines. dj jus eds side is a riot with retrace your life being a spacey half detroit half chicago monster and closing jack track jusnotic will certainly do some damage on the dancefloor

the corner is a new imprint from deconstructs anthony parasole. the concept is complete d.i.y. like the great street labels of the nineties, from nervous to rawkus - music with no boundaries! the tri-state ep by dj qu & nor easter brings just that - no boundaries. the first track up, >cuttin headz (tribute)< is by nor easter which is an ode to the interlude, a tribute track to early nineties hip-hop! >times like this< by dj qu is a fresh, driving, deep and forward moving percussive dance floor thumper! then there is >tri-state< by nor’easter, a gritty ny hip-hop track. altogether this music represents… the corner!
second release in 2012 is pirupas hard rocking debut on desolat. his party non stop is not only a trip down memory lane crossing paths of hip house as vocal version and early ravish bleep sounds as instrumental. its first and foremost a house sound of now - with attitude. dj qu, the man behind strength music, rounds up the ep with a healthy dose of drama with his epic raw remix.

this is first single cut from upcoming first collaboration album of minilogue & koss they have recorded at minilogue studio in malmo, sweden in the end of last year. then they brought back the recorded parts to own studio and put the each touch to the songs ... original of a side is minilogue manner hypnotic tech house but koss added his warm sounds. the result is a simple and timeless tune. on b side, new york deep houser dj qu remix is little bit more danceable than original. its for the fans of underground quality to lawrence to dj koze. the album is coming this autumn.
WOLKENREISE (DJ QU, JOHN TEJADA, RENE BREITBARTH RMXS)
12" Vinyl US16.03.11
wolkenreise finds the duo moving away from the dark, peak hour techno to a gentler sound that flirts with emotive deep house for something classy and inspired. the track offers here is built on a raw, unhurried kick. all important contrast comes from the dry, echoing claps (which cut gorgeously through the bass clouds like, well, thunder) at unexpected intervals, a distant, longing and muted organ line (i think) and some heavy hearted synths. it’s melancholic but optimistic, and has a certain classiness to it which i really dig.” -teshno, january 2011. these are just some of the words that have many saying wolkenreise is the single of year so far with massive global support from all over the world including seth troxler, laurent garnier, craig richards and alexi delano to name a few. glistening and glowing remixes are created by the brilliant minds of john tejada, dj qu and rene breitbarth to offer up a vinyl that is timeless
supported by move d, fred p, keith worthy, dj deep !! jitterbug began djaying at the age of 15 in the uk. and now more than 10 years later, has as much passion and enthusiasm for it as ever. chicago house music became his first real love, blown away by the rough yet soulful grooves of producers like gemini and cajmere, and the hard, funky sounds of labels like relief records, prescription, and dance mania. detroit techno followed suit, and a strong fascination for the roots and history of dance music led to a love for black music in all its many
