never interested in repeating themselves, callisto have taken a bold step away from their earlier, more instrumental material and composed a vocal record. the songs on providence are built upon layers of melodies, but this is not pop music. the band colour their sound with mellotrons, prog rock overtones, some jazzy bits and other stylish influences drawn from the seventies, and wrap everything up with vocals that range from screams of anguish to peaceful melodies and beyond. those who have adored callistos past works will still find a lot to digest in these majestic compositions, and also those into progressive heavyweights such as king crimson, landberk or opeth are in for a real treat. providence is produced, engineered and mixed by jonas olsson and mastered by svante forsbaeck. the artwork is contributed by martin kvamme of unit delta plus(fantomas, satyricon, turbonegro).
by now, we ve come accustomed to tabernacle records exploring the outer reaches of detroit-influenced techno, electro and ambient. even so, their latest outing from regular contributor jeremiah r is something special. beginning with the floatation tank-in-space ambience of chorus, calisto sees the producer laying down a whopping eight cuts that variously touch in drexciyan electro, artificial intelligence-era idm, and hard-to-define hybrids that confirm the intergalactic potential of electronic music. interestingly, the music is roughly equally split between horizontally inclined, beat-less explorations, surging dancefloor workouts, and the kind of mid 90s home listening fodder that sits somewhere in between.
ltd 2012 repress !! this is already single number 7 of the buddies stephan bodzin & marc romboy !! after their pretty abstract and strong release >puck< on herzblut they now return to the incredible world of detroit influenced chords of marc romboy s systematic imprint
plenilunio is a resume of the mystic jungle tribeÆs influences, past a d present musical journeys. this record is a statement more than a selection of tracks, it tells where mystic jungle and his tribe are coming from and where they re heading with their compositions, weather it is oriental flavored jazz-funk or no wave acid disco and all in between the aesthetic always remains loyal to the principle.
volume 7 hits for summer. deep techno. developer archive is an extension of modularz. a solo project that started in 2011 releasing limited vinyl only releases and continuing to focus on techno and bizarre raw grooves produced exclusively by developer.
those who preordered, do not have to do so again, we will contact you when we have stock! the music fell into the lap of wt records and it seemed only natural to release this 2 part big room art piece. moon temple is gabriel andruzzi. you may know him as the bass player/sax guy/engineer of a well known defunct nyc band. this well polished piece contains 9 tracks of delicate interludes, big room acid stompers, and weirdo spastic mechanical marches. there is no way to know if this release will end up in a big room, a sweaty basement, or a museum. not only does it sound good but there is a visual aspect too. both 12inchs (pressed on 45) are packaged in beautiful silver foil op art by moscows art crime.
burnski makes a return home to his own constant sound imprint for the first time since his changes ep back in september of 2015. 007 in the release catalogue sees a monumental step for both label and producer as it brings with it his first full-length offering. dna opens out across 9 neatly reduced dance tracks that demonstrate the unremitting talents of a producer with over 11 years experience in releasing records.
dystopix comes 3 years after the last neud photo record and the wait was well worth it. things have gotten darker with this release. elegant craftsmanship, subtle but effective vocals whisper throughout, and as always, it s cybotron influence is clear. the tracks flow with an eery cohesiveness, making it neud photo s most well told story to date. the hard part is figuring out whether the story is fiction or (soon to be) reality. these 6 electro hits can easily be enjoyed either chapter by chapter (songs for the mix or dancefloor), or as a whole (for bedroom listening). mastered by rude 66 first 60 copies include a handstamped photo insert. super limited us imports

just a few minutes till impact. final approach, three, two, one stephan bodzin and marc romboy aint no astronauts. they are first and foremost musicians, producers and long time friends. both would admit that arguing and talking music is as important as making it. together with their own long running imprints, systematic recordings and herzblut recordings, they have proven how to build up a distinct label sound. however, similar to some well-known astronauts, the word >luna< has a very special meaning to the musicians because its the name of marcs daughter and coincedently that of stephans wife as well. therefore it had been the obvious choice when they were looking for a fitting title name back in 2005. six years on, and the project nears its final touchdown and is honored with a an outstanding vinyl-set of six records!!! 16 different producers from all over the world take you to a musical orbit, starting in germany with moritz von oswald (basic channel, rhythm & sound), dominik eulberg, chris liebing, oliver huntemann, martin buttrich (desolat), roman flügel (dial) und robag wruhme (pampa records), continuing with speedy j (plus 8) from the netherlands, minilogue from sweden and even abe duque and brendon moeller from new york from the u.s.a.. an electronic transmission from the moon to the earth takes a little more than one second to cover the distance. but when listening to >luna<, you wont dare to think in minutes or seconds ignition sequence start, trois, deux, unité!
coming fresh off the back of the mighty >triton<, and as an appetizer for the long awaited and monstrous album pack >luna<, due march the 5th 2011, stephan bodzin & marc romboy present a stunning collection of incredible remixes. reading like a michelin stared menu, the remixers gathered are producers that stephan and marc highly appreciate and admire greatly. joris voorn (callisto), gui boratto (atlas) and oxia with nicolas massayeff (luna), all lend their talents to serving up a delectable array of delights

tyrant is the dj duo of craig richards and lee burridge, who operate as a team in the booth, resulting in a most distinct mix previously unheard. while other mix discs might split chores between two different jocks, tyrant are very much a solid unit.
for the second installment of their mixtape series, hospital records has turned to devonian duo fred v and grafix, who epitomize the label s festival-friendly outlook. they don t disappoint, either, dropping an action-packed mix that shoehorns 32 tracks into an hour of non-stop dancing fun. after kicking off with the guitar laden hip-hop wooziness of cyantific s high water mark and dimension s tear-out beast whiplash, they variously touch on liquid, hospital style disco drum and bass, and harder flavours. happily, they find room to include eight exclusives from a variety of producers, including a previously unheard vip re-work of their own summer smash major happy
someone once declared that, in the beginning, there was jack, and jack had a groove. and from this groove came the groove of all grooves. and while one day viciously throwing down on his box, jack boldly declared, let there be house! and house music was born. but before jack had his groove, there was disco, and before disco, there was krautrock!newcastles flight recorder label, home to modern interpretations of other european genres of dance music, italo, new beat, and ebm, in conjunction with radio oscillations on intergalactic fm, brings together a collection of music by those producers inspired by these >krautrock< pioneers of the early to mid 1970s on obliged to space a heartfelt and beautifully written love letter to those cosmic sounds of the 1970s
