lee scott teams up with jazz t on the production dropping two killer jazz laced boombap bangers ceiling and urn money. lee shows why he is one of the best lyricists out there killing the beats with intricate flows and raw hooks! on remix duty we have sleepwalker, aka king kashmere from strange u, flipping ceiling and pitch 92, the legendary mouse outfit producer, with his take on -urn money- the 12inch also come with instrumentals of all the versions. artwork is by stilts who completes this dope package.

after kicking off with a strong various artists release, mexican label calypso records returns to showcase the talents of argentine producer thomass jackson, who has previously been spotted on gomma amongst other labels. head rejection takes on a ghoulish 1970s vibe that sports a little schlocky horror and a little spaghetti western in its discoid grooves, while witzelsutch feels equally vintage but with a more cosmic lilt to its oddball tones. creepy pc gets more of that noirish goodness lurking around the mix, and then boot & tax come on board to remix head rejection with a heads down tribal patter that keeps the atmosphere of the original intact.

the italian duo boot & tax got already one lp and four eps under their wings who all deliver house and techno that stands out. so far their records been published by glasgowÆs finest optimo music and meant records from paris. now the two give their debut for endless flight and release three tunes that listen to the name ôdimensionö. they all got funk, they all love mesmerising melodies. you can feel the power of disco coming in with heavy seducing strings. you can get lost in echoed drums, trippy sounds and some oriental tones. and you also can march to cosmic techno that loves krautrock without embracing it. a multi-coloured ep that spreads deepness in an uncommon sense. if moves the heart and soul profound, while staying edgy and catchy.

behind the next release on meant records are italian duo boot & tax, a relatively new pairing made up of claudio brioschi and cristiancroce. here they serve up three great originals baced with a stellar remix from alien alien. before now, boot & tax have released two extremely well received eps on jd twitchs optimo trax and have also recently had their music licensed to erol alkans fabric live 77, so the pair are really on the up.

in 2013 bootshonk was the white label release spurred by the calls from dc10s dance floor. this time around bootshonk steps ahead of the game and pre-empts two of this summers sure-fire underground dj weapons. troubled times brings high energy tribal drumming, simple and stripped back to ultimate rhythmic effect. patiently building up with claps before sliding into a moment of surrealist vocal samples, for a woozy, trippy vibe. with stamper square the mood shifts deeper, delving into the late night mystery and a new level of dance floor entrancement.

hailing from nottingham, cappo needs no introduction as a stalwart of the hip hop scene worldwide. he has worked with the p brothers and many others and has a loyal following. he teams up with the young talented producer sam zircon for this excursion through dusty crates facilitated by an mpc3000, s950 and a couple of tape machines.
