lidl girl feat. arno joey is the sensational third single to be taken from popof’s huge hitting album love somebody’ released on hot creations last year. this mammoth package comes with remixes from industry heavyweights kerri chandler, magda, carl cox and shaun reeves & tuccillo.
solarism is the result of a common fascination for landscapes and a passion for contemplation.after two decades of an unbreakable friendship, we have finaly imaginated this protean entity to express what contemplation has offered us and how it connects us to the world, describing those experiences through music compositions, dj performances and welcoming other artists to release their art.we are really happy to introduce you to this new space of expression, with two arno e. mathieu’s pieces of music and a juju & jordash remix.on a1, as an expressive musical landscape, « ginger & lemon » describes a melancolic journey, starting with a balearic theme over a 707 tom groove, a melodic bass-line and some intense chords till a dark and tragic synth ending. a2 is the juju & jordash remix of « ginger & lemon » in a real moody jacking & swinging style, perfect for the crazyness of club s peaktime. on b1 « hapax» is another arno’s long narrative jam of acid and melodic synth, over a powerful bass-line and a driving drum, recounting the appearance of something which happen only once, but which always let his imprint.b2 is the arno’s drumless version of « hapax » for a more contemplative experience…welcome in solarism
after a first lp supported by various artist as rone, rodriguez jr, ark, electric rescue, morpheus or laurent garnier, timid records is proud to announce arno gonzalezs second album: *the delivery boy*. more personal (no featuring this time) and more direct into producing process, arno tells us pieces of his own story: a come back from a gig in brest (back from vauban), a crazy sunday afternoon (domingo dance), a trip to japan (kimura), a train ride to charles de gaule airport (angers/cdg). he also recalls with a dose of sorrow the cycles effects of buzz and modes into music (less was more) , the old time techno (the break), noisy and synthetic funk (the message) or the crazy run of a delivery boy (the delivery boy) which will be soon clipped by the motion designer smoh. the most surprising thing after a first listening is the work on textures and vibes which give consistency to the all album sailing between electronica, inspired techno and house grooves. finally, camille rodriguez and damien *timid boy* almira give us 2 stylish and efficient remixes which will find, for sure, the path to best djs turntables. enjoy your meal!

parisian popof releases the second single from his stunning artist album love somebody on hot creations. going back feat. arno joey is also a collaboration with animal & me with a feast of remixes on offer.
laurent garnier on tribute & fantasy ep: since the very first ep arno released a few years back on his own imprint, i have been a big fan of his productions. arno has always stood apart from the so-called hype and has developed his own style of trippy-as-hell dancefloor grooves.
at only 23 years old, arno cost is one of frances most talented up and coming music producers and djs. his music is making huge waves across the world with his hits magenta (axwells tune of the year and a pete tong essential tune), apocalypse,‘,darling harbour’, and souvenir’,.2009 is definitely going to be the year of arno cost with cyan: the track already is pete tongs essential new tune.
the biggest anthem of 2009 has officially landed, in the colorful form of cyan from the amazing french producer arno cost. this is dance music on a theatrical level with emotions and senses taken to another level not heard for many years in clubs. arno breaks the rules and hits you time after time with outstanding uplifting riffs and emotive strings and piano all locked down tight with a thumpin bass and backbeat.this will be the biggest tune for miami and ibiza for many seasons ahead not just for this year. a true gem has been delivered to lift the worlds dancefloors into heaven. thank you mr cost!
arnaud e mathieu is a well known figure of the parisian french house scene, hes a great dj and can play anything between deep house & techno. arno also runs his well respected label clima. i really enjoyed playing his recent release lamb of sun, on real tone. his past releases received support from great djs such as joe clausell or danny krivit. arno recently played me some of his productions demos and i really liked soil, he then did a great job in finishing it up and making it a dope club track! when playing this track to argy he really liked it and added his magic touch on final eqing! i hope you will enjoy this release as much as we do here on drh! dj deep
after the international hit magenta produced with arias in 2006, and the successful apocalypse produced with norman doray in 2007, arno cost comes back solo with his new bomb: souvenir. with its flying arpeggios and its deep rhythm, souvenir is an invitation to a trip…,a trip to our memories. souvenir ep includes also a remix by his first ‘,musicmate’, arias, and a remix by mathieu bouthier & muttonheads, two buzzing artists of the moment.
nice deepy electro tech house with nice synth, & a touch of the minimal school. buzzed & top charted by pascal f.e.o.s, thomas schumacher, magda, good groove, martin decara, tiefschwarz, kiki, linus, jerome pacman, jennifer cardini, paul nazca
***massive club anthem**** finally the first production pouxy prod, new label angevin of oups well-known association of the magnet medium. on this first maximum vinyl, two tracks effective composed by arno gonzalez and elysse, >higway11<, first track deep magnet felt well with an acid environment and incisor, intended for the hottest afters. the other track, >need hit<, certainly the tube of the reentry, with a monstrous kick, a station-wagon hip-hop tortured and altered with the sauce made in >very bad kids< will turn over, undoubtedly, next the dancefloors of france. to listen and dance in the modern evenings with the jungle
denver is a lo-fi piano journal made up of short, melodic pieces, dark and sullen in places, uplifting and bright in others. pieced together like an old photograph album covered in dust, filled with memories. with a nostalgic sound throughout, to the listener denver can sound familiar or recognisable but at the same time sound original, unheard and deeply personal.
debut release from guido, full name guido silvestri, member of the oltrarno recordings crew. after the appearance on the fourth label release as half of the ural project, here he goes on his own bringing this ep out of the berlin studio. from the edges of unknown lands, synthesizers landscapes unfold during the longest night. all life expectations are then distilled at dawn with the creation of a new body.
after 5 years from their last album released on bosconi records, the clover’s trio comes back on their own label with a three track ep dedicated to the dance floor.
quantized tribalism melts with jupiter’s sounds in “pulsing particles”. while in “emanation”, past and present feelings alternate through chants and synthesizers sitting on a solid funky groove.
“separated at birth” is the theme of the b-side, the minimalism of the original track is stretched by horror inc. (aka akufen, perlon) in a rare 9 minutes melodic drone with broken beat and thriller-ish like strings. a gem you can’t miss!
the clover are back on the market, ready to play with a brand new liveset!

lost in time has laid down some killer 12-s to date from the likes of ralph lawson and tuccillo, and now they welcome london-based scene staple alex arnout to the label with an on-point ep of explorative house music variations. -no borders- features long time us house veteran jovonn, and the pair whip up a tracky tech house roller with serious percussive pressure and a subtle lick of dub in the mix. -downtown 500- is a rough and tough, bashy house jam with a fresh drum palette, and by contrast -riddim- brings a straight up deep house vibe with classic organ licks aplenty, that almost sound like they should be the handiwork of jovonn as well. -jam the dance- finishes the ep off with a twitchy house cut peppered with vocal slices.
