dubbed by igloo magazine as the -romanian detroit electro/techno pioneer- and by the late aaron carl as -the romanian underground resistance himself-, andrew red hand from romania s spiritual capital of lasi stands up as an unwavering militant of the underground, a true detroit spirit possessed as romanian humanoid! from his early gigs throwing parties as one of the first generation djs in lasi since 1997, arh continues to break boundaries as part of the romanian resistance scene and numerous time portals as they open around europe. his blistering, mind-bending sets such as at berlin s tresor and griessmuehle see the dj with the red hand fuse pure detroit electro and techno with the sounds of techno-bass, raw chicago acid house, classics and futuristic beats. his mixes for radio ur (underground resistance) and the grid (detroit techno militia) remain some of the best frequency transmissions to surface to air. armed with a soviet union reel to reel majak 203, his scorching raw analogue and searing acid productions have been picked up by foundational detroit labels such as twilight 76, matrix, detroit underground, databass, detroit techno militia, cratesavers intl, visillusion as well as around the world from holland s iconic m>o>s recordings to 1Ø pills mate (lobster theremin), bass agenda and land of dance. on his remix list includes work for scan 7, santonio echois, thomas barnett, sean deason, niko marks, six foe, t.linder and more while support from anthony shake shakir, dj bone, dave clarke, dj godfather has been garnered for our sonic warrior... beware of the red hand!

rawax welcomes two talented russian artists to the family. pasha mikheev aka kolomna experiments & alexey krjuk aka bogdan. we re sure this is just the beginning of a long musical journey between them and us!

vinyl only, alex took his first musical steps by studying piano and guitar at the young age of 6. his fascination for the more outlandish, experimental side of each instrument corrupted his lessons and sent him down a modular synths and tape loop composition wormhole. years later alex resurfaced, got himself clean and, through connections made while spending time as a vocal audience member (and sometimes uninvited participant) at lyman woodard, phil ranelin, and other tribe- and motown-linked gigs in cass corridor during the mid-1970s, spent time as a session musician for earth wind and fire, chic, and prince. it was only toward the mid-90s he found himself enthralled by the techno and house sounds of detroit and chicago so he went into the woodshed and came out firing electronic salvos.

strong four track acid vinyl by legend affie yussuf!making his first appearance on ferox records back in 1993 affie yusuf has been producing techno, acid, and house music for over two decades, gracing heavyweight labels such as force inc. music works, superstition records, 909 perversions and chemical. affie is regarded as one of the most influential uk acid pioneers throughout the 1990 s, releasing under his own name, and as part of house of 909 and traffik with trevor loveys. in the 2000 s affie & trevor launched their label tragic magic, and founded the machines dont care collective, alongside sinden, toddla t, fake blood, detboi and drop the lime affie is also produces with collaborator mr. c of the shamen, and is resident dj at londons long running i love acid clubnight. born in southampton on the south coast of england in the early 1970s, affie yusuf has established himself as one of the most important and influential pioneers of uk acid, techno and house, with a career that spans three decades

it all began with a demo from siberia in 2011...the rest is history.. with his fulminant debut ep -untitled dubs-, rawax became over night an incredible focus in the techno scene worldwide. unbroken dub aka denis safiullin was let s say the co-founder of it and still a very close friend of the label. no wonder that we re happy to present you denis 7th release and follow up to the first one called -untitled dubs 2-!

rawax welcomes lumitecc to the family. this very talanted youg producer from ukraine delivers four great productions on his debut ep. we re sure it won t be his last!

with releases on established labels like force inc., cytrax, lo-fi stereo, morris / audio, delay or background, he made his way with his tricky electronic sound. he started his own label, edit that embraces the concepts of reuse and redefinition. components are generated, arranged and fine-tuned. they are stripped apart, processed and rearranged. sophisticated editing techniques enable this process to continue without end. the resulting audio productions become remixes of themselves.

ron maney also known as dj skull lived in the southside of chicago (il, usa). his musical career started during the summer of 1986, while recovering from a broken bone. during the following years he homed his craft, djing first at basement parties, building his reputation to go on to larger events such as, loft and hotel parties, and eventually the infamous music box and power plant clubs. at the age of fifteen ron shopped his first demo at trax records. there he first met chicago s legendary dj ron hardy, working as a&r for trax records. two years, and a new alias later (dj skull) later while at the power plant, chicago s own steve poindexter heard a dj playing one of rons tracks, and met ron. steve was now a&r at saber records and invited ron to release some tracks. so in october of 1991 dj skull s first record -n.r.g. music- was released. in 1993, he released the ep -the stomping grounds- on djax-up-beats, which was more noted than the first one. over the years that followed dj skull released lots of ep s on several labels. he has become well-respected producer and dj in the techno industry
