each of the four untitled tracks offers a different bassline groove paired with slowly unfurling cosmic sound design, featuring synthesizer leads that sound like an aural glimpse into the inner workings of your brain.

the 3rd release from japanese label bitta owned by japanese charisma, future terror boss dj nobu . the release is by wata igarashi who was recently featured in ra breaking through . a side, haziest just before the down deep minimalistic techno which has acid, industrial and spacey running groove and the ritual , minimalistic rhythm with distinctive breaks, looping acid bass, spacey pads which take you another world. b side, haziest just before the down 2 version remixes by semantica s core artist sverca , deeper electric groove with more experimental approach.

midgar is very happy to deliver a new release by wata igarashi! anticipated since few weeks already, ciphers ep is a rich assemblage of deep sonic excursions showing throughout a strong coexistence of organic and virtual elements.

the result is a powerful selection of vibrant techno, with a warm, almost spiritual, feel to it. both donato dozzy and neel have appeared individually on time to express before, here they appear for the first time together as voices from the lake. the italian duo offer more evidence of their distinctive brand of hypnotic techno with zulu vortex , a spiralling percussive workout. this is paired with a track from wata igarashi, a rising japanese dj and producer. night is a glowing, radiant piece of techno that has become a regular feature in peter van hoesen s recent dj sets.

a remix package which well represent the multifaceted approach of midgar to techno. edit-select opens with a long and groovy rework of lost in the instability , keeps the peculiar synth & basslines of the original cut, and goes further, carrying those elements to deeper dimensions. synthek delivers a stabbing remix of nibelheim , a killer techno cut where powerful broken beats continuously crash into the heaviest sonic waves. alba was originally an interlude solely composed of ambient sounds and ephemeral voices, which evolved with luigi tozzi s interpretation into a sweet and melancholic trip. wata igarashi to close the record, re-imagines pulse width as a mind-stressing experience held in a frame of hollow drones.
