our first release in 2013 comes up with a new varied artist. we are very pleased to introduce you to the cologne-based dj and producer pfeiffer. after several digital releases it is about time to give this exceptional talent a chance for his first vinyl release. as a co-founder of the cologne-based rheinrhythmik event series he has created his own idea of music within the last few years. we are impressed and fascinated by what we have heard so far. four tracks, each of them perfectly suited for the dancefloor. enjoy!
musical support for the b-side comes from sandru on b1 and the fourth track on b2 is a collaboration with alexander siegel from the ordinary subject.
varied is proud to present its sixth ep in collaboration with alessandro sensini! not only are the three tracks by the italian artist in a class of their own but they illustrate the musical evolution of our label. we were initially drawn in by alessandros creative approach to electronic music and his high standards in the studio - determined to turn out nothing but high-quality productions. to describe his style in a few words: gentle and balanced, yet ready for the club – this makes him the perfect addition to the varied artist family. listen for yourselves!
feedback and early support by: adam beyer, marcus meinhardt, franco bianco, david squillace, mihai popoviciu, simina grigoriu, someone else, dualton, mirco violi, shaun ingham, don ramon, das hutwerk, philipp wolgast, slam, kim kemi, andrea ferlin, mieka du franx, philipp ort, dibby dougherty, desyn masiello, danny tenaglia, kane roth, randall jones, tuncay celik, arnaud le texier, de:bug, djforum.it magazine and many more.
augmented third. our third ep introduces the ordinary subject - title of the latest project of alexander siegel and christian scheel. infected by creating sound - generated sensory input – they are both enthused by the same. following this idea, the ordinary is certainly not able to enhance a current perception of reality, but the augmented, however, can. the ordinary subject truly live music in an irrational way and aren t it different views that can complete a perception? to get an impression of what we try to say, tune your ears and listen.
upfront final copies only at decks.de!!! 2nd thought. consequently this is the next step after the first release of varied records. the labelowner and artists wolfgang rohrer and alexander siegel submits with this ep their common work within four tracks. however, rohrer&siegel identifies no reason to describe their own music in florid style.
first on decks.de !! founded in 2009, time has come for the 1st release, >plusminus1<. whereas berlin dj sid wrote a track for the a-side, both, rohrer & siegel from potsdam, have their own track on the b-side. b2 >deepdownover<, created by alexander siegel, is a piece of art that goes back and forth, unifies high and low. his track can be said to cause emotional ups and downs. if the year had four musical seasons, >deepdownover< could be one of them. b1 >dr. pepper<, wolfgang rohrers track, a creative tool for the dancefloor, is deep and funky and has a bassline to tear down walls. with its groove, >plusminus 1< on the a-side is in the position to set fairly everything in motion. reduced to the essential
