stasis005 is another vinyl issue of elysia crampton s digital work, following stasis003, the bound adam 2011 7inch. it is the first pressing of the light that you gave me to see you, originally released under the name e+e. the arrangements were conceived between 2011 and 2012, and the l.p. was finally assembled in 2013, while the artist was homeless in los angeles, california. this edition also includes a previously unreleased bonus track, troll song, which originates from the same period. as with bound adam 2011, the art is by felix lee, and the master is by brandon hocura.

bound adam is the first in a series of reissues by american artist elysia crampton (f.k.a. e&e) for total stasis record label. originally self-released in 2011 as digital files, this is its first vinyl pressing. its three tracks are an ode to the artist s ford ranger. 2011 is also the year ford discontinued the ranger line. as crampton says, -it is a speculative/ontological poem about a relationship with a car.- 7- vinyl record mastered by brandon hocura cover + insert by felix lee

following releases by ramzi (etwal timoun) and aquarian foundation (planet of discipline), montréal/los angeles label total stasis announces the first lp by swiss producer anom vitruv, entitled anomie. subtitled five studies about death, anomieis an intricate tapestry of field recordings, incidental sounds, and blackened, looming ambience that fluctuates between detachment and foreboding. at one point a clattering house piece rises from the mix, punctuating the records sensual, vaguely funereal exhaustion. cover art comes from brazilian artist marcellvs l., whose minimalistic studies on stasis, time, and mirage complement anomies intro/outrospective sense of limbo. mastered by brandon hocura (invisible city editions) at polyphasic studios in toronto.
