first part of the ace new a made up sound double drop on his own label. two pieces of his signature stutterfunk with the machines slowed down to a midtempo drift. stumbling on the a-side, slamming on the b-side. highly recommended.
after two releases on the dutch label rush hour, syrinx presents his first limited release on ann aimee. side a brings a deep fine dubbed out spacey funky techno track, on the flip he delivers a raw industrial techno track, and one smooth interlude/ambient track.
the mysterious syrinx came to us out of nowhere. his tracks sound as if he has been around for a long time, maybe he has. we were pleasantly surprised with the standard of his music. deep, melancholic and building dub techno, just as we like it. though keeping the tradition alive (model 500, chain reaction etc), he does add his own vibe to this genre. nice! this is volume one out of two. both releases will come in matching artwork...
