to all those unaware of the electro clash scene here in nyc im going to let you in on it. basically its the 80s revival with a tech edge. this is an electro clash kids wet dream. all the hits redone with stronger drums and tighter production for the soundsystems of today. ill heavy metal new wave electric boogie mashed together on 2 disks.

a sick collection of secret armand van helden cut and paste 80s tracks. lots of nu wave stuff going on with big euro samples getting van heldens midas touch. twins of pleasure is the favourite cut, with its pulsing retro bassline line and banging drums. the hilarous ktu track is another goody that wrecks a freestyle sample with ny radio station ktu ids on it. with all the current interest in the 80s, this is a really fun take on the idea.
