son of sound is the current project of henry maldonado, a nyc house music legend. you may know him from his tenure in house 2 house in the early 90s, who released their records on strictly rhythm

son of sound aka henry maldonado has been a fixture on his native new york house scene since his first strictly rhythm release way back in 1992. with releases on henry street, emotive and cutting, amongst others, its no surprise to find big apple funk running strong through this, son of sounds three track tirk debut, full of rolling percussion, hypnotic riffs, downtown disco and artschool funk.
