rpg ist komplett mit einer hand komponiert. obwohl er sich den anderen arm gebrochen hatte und nicht mehr in der lage war, seine synthesizer zu spielen, gab wijnands nicht auf und schuf die ep, die seine entschlossenheit und leidenschaft für die musik unter beweis stellt.

system ist ein retro-futuristisches album, das von dem kultigen sound der 80er jahre inspiriert ist. es verschmilzt nahtlos tiefe, maschinenartige tracks, die sich mit überraschend vermenschlichten popsongs abwechseln.

mit einer erweiterten palette von pianos und synthesizern nimmt shooks arbeit sie mit zu diesen vintage-funk- und synth-pop-sounds, während sie mit dem berührenden gesang von jasper und seiner partnerin juliet verbunden bleiben.

jasper wijnands, bekannt unter seinem künstlernamen shook, hat sich in seinem dritten album -continuum- einer einzigartigen mischung aus akustischen und elektronischen klängen verschrieben. dieses album ist sehr intim und ausgewogen zwischen seiner melodischen klavierarbeit und seinem synthesizer-sound.
