maeve are thrilled to welcome long time friend kev sheridan to the label for his debut release. kev is one of the most talented musicians they know and its an honor for them to release his first work to the world. this project has been developing over the past few years and now this record showcases the deep musicality and talent kev has.

with veryverywrongindeed about to do its first new label night at fabric s sister club matter three days after this release, the label is expected to get a lot of attention across the web, with interviews coming in ibiza voice, data transmission and a big competition in ra. the track, meanwhile, is inspired by the 1960 s film starring richard burton. with sheridan s classical-music background and his trademark grand piano and orchestral stabs, it s a dark and fluid number - in the spirit of the murky east end gangland tale that inspired it. and on the flip is another up-and-coming uk artist, max cooper, taking the track in a much more epic direction.

heres one of the jewels in the vvwi crown - a dark, smoky collaboration between tim sheridan and king roc described by sebo k as >great. very unique<. its a moody diversion from the european sound thats been a hit from tims birthday gig at dc10 to king rocs recent fifteen-gig stint in brazil, including the nye party on pratigi beach he called >one of the gigs of my life<. and now it comes with two new remixes - a more techno king roc rereub and a bouncier retake by vvwi stalwart andre crom...

mike sheridan is the name of the fresh new talent emerging on mis 12th release. alt & intet is deep, mysterious and have a few hints of dub elements. its a really special track consisting of a dark, angry and hypnotic mono-groove topped off with little trippy melodies. the second track barcelona takes this release in a different direction. the deepness of this piece will make you dreamy. tom clark is on the remix duties reworking alt & intet and of course he doesnt let us down with this bumping e-tune of a track
