in a spontaneous way, sanfuentes records releases have been offering different overviews about latin américa: the street-tour that mijo took us into the incomparable ciudad de méxico, the peep into santiago’s idiosyncratic and sexy nightlife by román & castro or the nostalgia and psychedelia from patagonia’s isolation that rous portrayed in his “silencio carmesí” release. “visiones”, sanfuentes’ new ep, comes from a similar place. it reflects on the continuously ongoing cultural cross-pollination happening in latin américa, a phenomena that brings unity and topples political, social and spiritual borders.

rous comes from argentina. currently living in mendoza, the young and talented musician, producer and wine sommelier makes his mark as a dj, live performer and restaurateur.

mijo aka la royale, aka one half of moon runner and many more is back! its been a busy couple of years for mijo. countless remixes, productions, tours, multiple releases as well as taking care of his excellent record labels disque discos and electrique music. with simplicity and strength, title track proximo berlín has become one of the head tracks of the new latin american techno sound, one that mijo helped define with his side projects moon runner and la royale. próximo berlin has a very impressive remix from rex the dog, who delivered a stunning, seven minute long, techno rollercoaster. 110%. b-sides cheaptron and circulate are also some of our favorite mijo tracks ever. the simplicity and magnetism of those rhythms shake bodies insistently
