ruede hagelstein wants it all, and not just that jazz. the berlin producer, known for his productions that straddle the boundary between house on techno, released on labels like souvenir and upon you records, will release his debut album soft pack together with his band, the noblettes on november 18, 2011. a priori is the first track on the indie-electronic lp, and cannot claim itself free from jazz influences. with piano, a horn section, and brushed snares, the track swings with the best of them. since ruedes vocals also require something a little more dancefloor-friendly, this digital appetizer will be served up with a remix from the man himself. the vinyl will follow with remixes from guillaume & the coutu dumonts, noir and tiefschwarz.

well 20 catalogue numbers and three ôthe cheapersö releases later, our ruede hagelstein dares to perform a solo dance on upon you. in this case- a chair dance. the name ôreise nach jerusalemö stands for the game moving chairs that ruede still remembers from his east german child hood.the principles of the track will be recognized by those who know the game. to all others the a1 side will appear to be a mean techno pusher. ôaron habritö also surprises the inclined listener with unexpected curves of tension but still remains on the house ground of reality and digs like ôlevithanö towards the thick underbrush of pre-christian mythology that ruede seemed to in any way have heard of in one of those brandenburg kibbuzes. shalom!

on some things you can always rely on - ruede hagelstein s dog vs. dog series belongs to it without doubt. and he is also not disappointing with the no.4. on the contrary - hagelstein offers us two very different tracks, but which have one thing in common: quality! aerohonica appears unusually housy and melancholic, whereas scissor mouse is a breaker in ruedes typically manner. both tracks are high class floor bombs! the same procedere as every year? - with dog, with pleasure.

our next watergate compilation is numbered with the myth-enshrouded 13 - a burden taken by our longstanding friend and resident ruede hagelstein. simultaneously to his enrolment into our booking agency, he curated 25 tracks for our new cd. the collection contains known classics and new gems. the mix starts off with a dreamy melancholic track by prins thomas and develops an enormous deepness

with the second release noland tracks moves from nigeria to poland: non human persons saturn melancholia is an early song of the polish band based on guitar & voice + processor, recorded in warsaw some years ago. with their remix gebrüder teichmann turned the song into a sacral techno anthem. a deep and dark trip with nico in the heart and mdma in the blood. the b-side features the original track plus a beautiful hand carved image by brenda alamilla.

just like him, acid pauli has been on the go during the last years, building up new collabos with labels such as crosstown rebels, clown & sunset, and artists such as nicolas jaar, damian lazarius. so, now it is time to treat the own label smaul to another release.

the two brothers of gebrÜder teichmann have been regular guests at the early killekill events. that is because they have a very similar approach to electronic music as we do. first of all they are deeply in love with the music itself and not the fame, the money or whatever one might expect to get when making music, and second they have a wide musical horizon and interesting perspectives on it, because they are active on several levels, as djs, musicians, promoters etc. first of all though they got class and taste, and so we are happy to present their cooperation with one of our personla heroes and one of the very big names in early house music: johnny dangerous aka foremost poets.
