wire parasitism ep is inspired by the electronic music which was produced during the end of the 80s and beginning of the 90s by the likes of richard h. kirk, psychic tv, coil, dave campbell or lagowski (to name a few). walid el barbir uses his unique producing & sampling skills to create contemporary and industrial sounding compositions out of found footage like occult documentaries, rave stabs or emax sound-libraries. walid el barbir is a part of the collective les points based in zürich, switzerland. his art/music draws from 90s rave utopias, occultism, progressive & accessible frameworks as showcased at their offspace mikro - a physical room which has no doors and opening times during exhibitions and raves - making an institution available to all social layers.

detroit s burden bros have long been looked upon with immense respect within contemporary dance music. having been in operation since 1990 with their 430 west imprint they have long encapsulated the forward thinking vibe of detroit techno with their output over the last 20+ years, gaining praise from their motor city peers as well as fans worldwide. having had success in the mainstream and an enduring underground presence they are well versed in the art of music. point blank , released on 430 west in 1996, feature some of the brothers deeper, more subdued, futuristic technoid grooves. not as driving as some of their other releases but retaining that burden groove for sure, forward thinking, intelligent techno from the d, 100%. 4 different versions of 2 tracks feature. each mix tweaking ever so slightly what came before. as usual, the dj s and the dancers are foremost in octave one s mind and this ep will be welcomed by both contingents, always classic, often imitated but never bettered! re-mastered, re-pressed and re-released in conjunction with the burden brothers / 430 west records, detroit usa.

bon voyage is an ever-shifting constellation of musicians led by paris-based producer and bass player adrien durand. durand was first spotted in 2009 by jamal moss, boss of renowned chicago label mathematics recordings, which released durand s solo effort (impersonnel naviguant) under the moniker les aéroplanes. that first record, done using a very academic house music setup consisting of an eight-track cassette recorder, a drum machine, a cheap analog synthesiser and an even cheaper sampler, caught the attention of such dj s as beautiful swimmer and toby tobias. for his bon voyage project, durand recruited drummer nicolas ballay and keyboard player/engineer maxime kosinetz. while opening for legendary italian dj daniele baldelli, the band caught the attention of chicken lips s steve kotey, who released bon voyage s first two records (sorciers des aéroports, l imposture) on stendec, a new imprint created for the occasion

nice price deal !!! raw waxes continues the release number four with one more original track from the noisemaker. the edition 4.2 is enriched by the remixes of korova, duo who were protagonists of our first release, and inigo kennedy, old school artist truly appreciated by raw waxes. on side c, point x15 advances as an acid robot going ahead with swollen broken baselines covering sinister and rough ambients. the rhythm gets darker and nimbler as far as the stylus moves on the decks. on the side d, korova delivers the mirror of their hypnotic and straight techno soul. drums play hard, ambients are kept happily enjoyable, while the acid synths and chords go with the flow embellishing the original version. inigo kennedy�s reinterpretation seems to come from early �90 productions on missile records. acid elements and palpitating hi-hats, followed by the syncopated bass drum, gradually fire the minds up and accelerate the roll of weird but deep moments. pure industrial machine guns.

the fourth ep from raw waxes includes two tracks from the noisemaker, italian producer already on fire during the last years. both original tracks have got a delightful groovy soul, amplified by a dark arpeggio, which drives strong energy in stomach and legs of the listeners. the sounds he choses are captivating, dynamic, and push feelings to an high vitality. the deepness of the original tracks is perfectly interpreted by the remixers, who kept his mood and added a personal touch to it. on the a side, mike parker keeps a sinister atmosphere and beautifies it with noisy and raw sounds, which coherently distinguish his productions from many others. on the b side, haiku develops mostly the dance floor mood of the original track with an upbeat based production going through mind trip breaks and industrial pads, giving to the entire release a summer breathe.
