long time friends (since flex vienna 95) patrick and luke joined forces on blumoog music and came up with this crafty and dynamic four tracker ep. patrick pulsinger opens the project on the a with two ingenious and uplifting tracks reminiscent of his old ‘sluts’n’strings &909’ days with an acidic twist. 25 years have gone by since patrick pulsinger made history and put vienna on the map by founding techno avant-garde label cheap records and with productions like ‘dogmatic sequences’ on disko b and pioneering sequential- minimal-techno soon after with the huge lp ‘porno’ also on disko b. on the flip side luke m.r.e.u.x is consistent with his fine style. dry percussions and rubbery bass in b1 ‘cerebral fix’. a darker approach in confession b2 with a relentless 5 minutes of techno trip that will not let you catch breath.

die zweite runde von remixen zu dem selbst betitelten album von urbs ist eine fesselnde zusammenstellung von zeitlosen hiphop sowie downtempo nummern. marc mac: gibt es zu dieser person etwa noch was zu sagen? als teil des uk duos 4hero hat er musikgeschichte geschrieben und sein visioneers projekt setzte neue standards in sachen organischem hiphop. sein remix zu get wid it featuring tyna aus neuseeland, besitzt alles, was man sich von diesem musikgenie erwartet. ein souliges, harmonisches meisterwerk, welches auch auf einem seiner legendären visioneers alben hätte veröffentlicht werden können. peter kruder hat als teil von kruder & dorfmeister sowie mit seinem projekt peace orchestra musikgeschichte geschrieben. sein remix zu happy days feat. bagi und sarah ann ist eine reise zurück zu seinen musikalischen wurzeln, welche ihn berühmt gemacht haben eine relaxte downtempo-nummer. der remix weckt erinnerungen an die zeit, als seine musik millionen von menschen berührte.

christoph abele aka catekk is very young but an adept. for years not only resident-dj of the legendary club flex in vienna but also live-act, sound engineer and together with christopher groove a promising producer-duo. even though catekk and groove have only been working together since 2010, they already produced for scene-headliners such as felix da housecat or marco bailey. however, catekk not only produces thrilling pieces for the just named heroes - his own releases can be found in countless vinyl bags and dj-charts. now the label houztekk records is releasing a long hidden jewel from catekks live-repertoire.
