every release is special for us here at hizou. but to clock up our tenth one is a particularly special moment. so it is even more pleasing that we reach this milestone by welcoming on board a producer we admire enormously, life recorder. the man from marseille has a lengthy discography of must-have records to his name already and the super-deep pressure jazz ep will only add to that growing list as he delivers a trio of prime cuts, from the punchy, raw analogue sounds of the title track to the warming subconcious drive and the melodic, acid-flecked traffic jam.

re-issue of the album from 1979 in its original cover as a heavy weight 180gram edition, re-mastered and with extensive liner notes! produced, composed and arranged by pablo gad, recorded with the backing band zion steppers from the uk, the artwork was created by wayne massop. a release in the re-launch series of the classic uk reggae label burning sounds. (this album was also released with an alternative title of *blood suckers*.)

ltd 2012 repress !!! big l.garnier, steve bug, rolando support!!! what we re gonna do here is go back... back into time! this unlikely bulgarian/uk duo churns out an old skool chicago monster that reminds us of the rawest mr. fingers productions from the late 80s. we have been jacking our body ever since we first heard it. comes as vocal and instrumental. the b side sees a solo outing by kink and again it sounds like we go back 20 years... raw and dirty house music. when music is this good, let there be renaissance! our house is your rush!
