walter jones has been composing music since 1977 and released his first record in 2003. he has released on various labels such as dfa, westbound, supersoul, cisco/stevier, hakt, permanent vacation, under the shade. with -instant gratification,- his second outing on whiskey pickle, the louisiana based producer offers four, cosmically tinged dance tracks that sparkle effortless class and unique flair. presented for the label s sophomore vinyl release, we are treated with bouncy, house-bumpers (-razzmatazz- and -the grinder-), low tempo chuggers (-harmonic urgency-) and even ambient works (-making love-).
