three years after his groundbreaking album >the meaning< (playhouse, 2004) thomas melchior presents his new longplayer >no disco future<. skills and experiences thomas gained throughout the years are innumerous. to mention just a few: along with tim hutton he formed the duos vulva and yoni who were releasing on aphex twins label rephlex, on the us-label reflective, and for german electronica pioneers source records. with his mate peter ford he forms the duos sunpeople and soul capsule (and various others). the new album sounds less microhousy and more homogeneous. slightly spherical soundscapes perfectly unite with discreet vocals building very harmonical structures..
