paskal & urban absolutes are celebrating the release of their debut album lux (released in november 2013) with a big bash, encompassing a special remix package and with an illustrious group of liked minded peers. same as with their own work credo of cross-city collaborating (paskal aka alex lives in berlin, urban absolutes aka adrian lives in essen) the twosome assembled half of germany for the first, now available 12inch of the lux remixes.

after the well-received and genre-bending album that was last years ky do mar, studnitzky makes another wise move: by inviting two of the most sought-after remixers at the moment to rework two of the albums tracks the german jazz-trained trumpet and piano player shifts his music smartly towards club land.

on the occasion of the sixth record store day in april, sonar kollektiv releases for the first time a limited 300 copy special edition in celebration of the day, the vinyl and the record store. and it wouldnt be sonar kollektiv wouldnt we be treated with a very special goodie: the new shooting stars and new signings of the label, paskal and urban absolutes took a classic out of the extensive repertoire of the label to task, that night by jazzanova from 2001.

this is a joint venture of up and coming paskal & urban absolutes and house veterans henry l & ingo saenger. all 4 producers are connected by their penchant for deep and raw house music, while living quite far apart in berlin (b), düsseldorf (d), dortmund (d) and koeln (k). paskal & urban absolutes recently released on the highly respected sonar kolletiv label among others, whereas henry l and ingo sänger released on their own farside label and have been playing house music all life long. the 2 original tracks plus the 2 remixes are all sexy swingers! welcome to 2013!

ron carroll & (byron stingily) - two legends from the early house era. their voices have been an instantly recognizable signature on countless records from that time. these two heroes are back now with paskal & urban absolutes. the duesseldorf / berlin-duo has been busy in the studio for the last few months working on new tracks and remixes.

the loose series based on misunderstandings returns. after the last release in 2009 the series initiated by jazzanova dj alex barck based on his former club night at berlins weekend, we are now treated with its fourth installment.

fast ein jahr nach dem letzten release von ron deacon sind wir glücklich, dass wir vier neue tracks direkt aus dem farside lager präsentieren können. die shooting stars paskal & urban absolutes haben eine erstaunlich clubtaugliche live-version ihrer farside-klassikers in moskau aufgenommen. henry l ist zurück mit seinen außergewöhnlichen groove skills, einigen old school sample vibes und einem augenzwinkern nach detroit. matt flores besticht mit einem glatten und anspruchsvollen dub-tech-monster, und schließlich halten henry l & ingo sänger die dinge ein wenig mehr hypnotisch.
