darauf haben seine fans lange gewartet: mit »oxygene 3« beendet der französische electronicapionier jean-michel jarre seine berühmte »oxygene«-trilogie.
knapp 40 jahre sind seit seinem ersten erfolgsalbum »oxygene (1 - 6)« von 1976 vergangen, weitere 20 jahre seit teil zwei: »oxygene (7 - 13)« aus dem jahr 1997.
sieben brandneue tracks hat jarre für »oxygene 3« komponiert, die er sinngemäß als parts 14 bis 20 betitelt hat. dafür begab sich der 68-jährige noch einmal zurück zu seinen anfängen, zu dunkel-atmosphärischen klängen, zum spacesound und auch zum minimalismus.
