o*rs is presenting their newest project. the leipzig based imprint adds the already timeless piece of work to four tracks: ors 2200 – a12 vinyl, which takes the listener on a fantastic auditive journey... and of course it is a vinyl only release

here it is. the 8th release from leipzig vinyl imprint ors. a various artist ep compiled by label owner filburt. it comes as a five-tracker with works from ranko, andreas techer, mille & hirsch, donnie dubson and filburt himself. donnie dubson and ranko are leaving the clime of house. its more postdubstep infused hip hop. however mille & hirsch bringing back the good old house vibe with the lounge 44 version of their track my mind. the hit of the ep. filburt boils the crowd down with his impression of a morning blossom and andreas techer wake(s) up to start the afterhour at the end of the ep. limited to 300 hand numbered blue vinyl copies.

with the shortly arriving compilation continue, the still young label ourselves is already entering the second round. after their kick-off had already unmistakeably proven likewise, also their following release prides itself with multifarious house music. the entry into this musical journey is given by a collaboration between the two leipzig producers ranko and lootbeg. in their work, classical drums are meeting warm house chords, accompanied by a driving acid line and riddled with catchy soul vocals, which, parcelled into modern breaks, will most certainly set more than one hip swinging. a clear case of girl voucher. the second track of the release is contributed by berlin artist perel. in usual fashion, clearly harder drums meet a driving and floating groove here, which has without a doubt been produced for dancefloor usage. adding the massive bassline and the unmistakeably demanding vocal, we end up having a massive tune with raw warehouse character. i want my money back! the opening of the flipside comes from our good friend braunbeck. holy, a hypnotically-tinted tune dominated by percussion convinces with his irresistible urge forward and his ever catchy groove, which truly never seems to lose its dynamism. a true monster. the perfect finishing touch is added by filburt personally. the chief of motherlabel o*rs surprises with a track full of cosy atmosphere and spacy vocals. carried by a multitude of synthie sounds, this tune sure is the perfect choice for every set and afterhour. always towards the rising sun!

it‘s back to the roots for o‘rs with this one. we had a look at our recent digital releases and picked five favorites to press them on a 12“. and since these times make disco records kind of redundant, we just made a‚ no disco ep. but don’t trust the name: this will still make you dance.

25 years of distillery. that’s a memory-laden, even historical event for underground and club culture. or let’s just say, culture in general. getting into detail about the impact, this club had for the last quarter-century, would fill a couple pages, so let’s just state the obvious real quick: distillery has witnessed and co-determined socio-cultural change and progress in its past. be it in its hometown leipzig, basically building up the city’s infrastructure for club culture over the years. or be it on national or international scale. it carries a legacy of being one of the longest-serving and one of the most influential clubs in germany. period.
