oneoffs is a new sub label under the ever growing local talk umbrella. with oneoffs we have a clear vision to deliver not only one house style but to be very open minded within the whole spectrum of 4/4 rhythms. it is all about being musically curious, free and looking at house music with both retro, current and futuristic specs. so basically dont expect anything, our aim is to surprise you! the first release has three different producers from sweden, ireland and spain showcasing three different styles of house.

the fourth instalment of local talks series crosses all genres of house and have been delivered by producers from sweden, argentina, germany and finland. its a wide and complete mix of deep and thumping 4/4s. the opening track from combo loops a killer stevie sample over some mid-tempo electronic house beats…its pure shuga! tim vita, oliver gehrmann and xavier hirsch does a similar thing using a big voiced motown legend together with dark but jazzy house rhythms. < finnish house legend sasse (mood music) delivers a classic deep but electronic jam that definitely sets a deep mode. we finish off with a classic us garage track from argentinian producer tom noir, a real club filler with some serious breakdowns.

oneoffs volume 3 offers just like the previous volume four new cuts from four different producers. first up we got swedish producer jonas rathsman and *yes i am*, a lush deep house track that is both heartfelt and sublime. let it breathe on a large sound system for maximum effect! ending the a-side is duo twinpeaks funk-fuelled ride *not that tech house - dj tool dropped by paris hilton you were searching for*. a track that would fit right into any peak time set, even by paris hilton. want from pixel82 is a punchy track with its scattered synth chords, jerky hats and a thick groove followed by *life is a gamble* where jesse futerman takes us on a soul inspired journey of deft sample manipulation

no rest for the wicked, after launching oneoffs earlier this year and releasing our first ep with three fresh cuts from three talented producers we are back. each of the four cuts is a highlight in its own way, from the afro inspired house on size up with a superb herbie hancock tribute from crackazat on keyboards, to the slow and bass heavy techy i m the jack from will berridge on the a-side. the b-side starts off with jmxs thats the way, another exercise in dynamic house with punchy chord stabs, finishing things off is keumels feel-good disco surgery incisions roll california my way.
