ltd 2019 repress !! tj hertzs first original release since 2014s critically acclaimed flatland lp comes in the form of objekt #4, a continuation of his club-focused white label series and a tribute to the sadly now defunct basement q, a formative and beloved haunt in berlin’s schöneberg district which quietly but profoundly shaped the musical identities of hertz and several of his contemporaries until its final closure in 2012.
the two tracks on objekt #4 pay tribute to two of the many musical facets of basement q in its later years. a-side “needle and thread” aims to condense several hours of a thursday night in the basement into 9 minutes and 26 seconds, embellishing a hypnotic rolling techno backbone with hyper-detailed atmospherics, enchanting melodies and tight, strident breakbeats. b-side “theme from q” is hertz’s reinterpretation of a basement q anthem, owner and founder dj bogdan’s own “love inna basement (morning dub)”, which never saw an official release despite providing the soundtrack to over 20 years of late morning love-ins in the cellar underneath the sattler & söhne glue factory. together, the two tracks offer an incomplete but nonetheless seductive illustration of one of the most idiosyncratic and overlooked clubs in berlin’s recent history.
groove covermount track! pan is excited to announce the release of objekts debut album, flatland. written between 2012 and 2014, flatland follows up a succession of dynamic single releases from his base in berlin, including the recent split 12inch with dopplereffekt on leisure system, cactus b/w porcupine on hessle audio and three 12inch singles on his eponymous white label series
hallucinations storm the border between wakefulness and sleep. accurate perceptions give way to distorted visions, senses torn and split through. borne of mutual inspiration, legendary duo dopplereffekt and sonic adventurer objekt present hypnagogia, a split 12 on leisure system, with each transmission derived from a shared journey into extrasensory perception and subconscious thought

following contributions by dj deep and dj hell, tresor records are proud to present the third instalment in their kern mix-series, this time headed by berlin based producer objekt, his first release following his 2014 debut album flatland for pan. in keeping with the series mission of showcasing a more personal approach to mixing hertz describes his process as such, kern vol. 3 is made up of tracks that i know i will play and love for years to come. some of these records have been in my bag for years others are almost as new to me as they are to you. a handful are by lesser known artists whom i admire and who i think deserve wider recognition. planned, recorded, embellished, reworked, tweaked and chiselled away at over a period of 6 months, the mix was gradually carved out in a way that makes use of new and old techniques alike, presenting itself primarily as a dj mix but settling in a sweet spot between live recording and studio trickery. the tracklist spans styles, decades and bpms in an attempt to craft a mix thats unpredictable and compelling in equal measure – one that draws from the more adventurous corners of my club sets, but above all, one thats a pleasure to listen to.

good things come to those who wait ... especially to those who wait for the next original dennis ferrer release on his imprint, objektivity. maniac 3000 is the second anthemic single from ferrer s much anticipated upcoming album on defected, paranoia aftermath , to drop early 2017. tapping into his techno-roots for this one, ferrer has managed to create an unlikely union between the groovy techno drums and the suspense of arpeggiated synth line. in ferrer s own words the track was an attempt to go backwards, to move forward .
andré hommen s bassari people ep drops on objektivity, and it s sure to cause a stir on the global dancefloor. a unique bundle of groovy goodness inspired by the bassari tribe, a small group of people from senegal. andre stumbled across the tribe in a series of youtube videos, and thus the record concept was born. bassari people is getting support from the right people: solomun, dixon, tensnake, marcus worgull and mano le tough among them. a.r.m.c. on the b side may not be a dancefloor bomb , but the hidden qualities layered in the track really showcase andré s production skills.
the mysterious hyneah is giving his debut on objektivity, coming with two original tracks and a stunning andre lodemann remix. title mami wata has been premiered by andré hommen in his boiler room berlin set and received a massive track-id wave from all over the internet. the african vibe throughout both originals is coming even stronger on ‚soak it which includes vocals by the amazing nonku. last but not least, andre lodemann s remix is a masterpiece on it s own and completes the package perfectly. the vinyl has the exclusive andre lodemann instrumental which is not available digitally.
following his successful remixes on suol (for fritz kalkbrenners void, january 2015) and culprit la (for aidan lavelle & robbie akbals stars, november 2014), objektivity is proud to welcome andre hommens second ep, >battery park< as its next release. already getting massive support from dennis ferrer, who debuted battery park in his recent sets

dennis ferrers objektivity imprint return with their first release of the summer and a debut single from hot new talent, adam berecki. the 22 year old from dortmund is set to make a huge impact in 2012 with his westpark trax ep. a double-header that sees him channel the spirit of early nyc and chicago house.
fresh from the incredible success of his chicago days / detroit nights< album on josh winks ovum recordings, the be as one label boss continues to bring the heat, with a brand new double-header for objektivity.
a side >majestic<, with its stripped structure and layered vocal, has already become a staple in the sets of a few close friends. its hypnotic and relentless, jackin groove is sure to make it an instant favourite. flipside >glooming< is from classic chicago stock. filtered to perfection and already picking up support from dj sneak, it delivers a welcome blast of windy-city-inspired house.
shlomi aber on objektivity, a perfect match!
dennis ferrer needs no introduction. an icon in both the house and techno communities his roots run deep across the spectrum of electronic music. what we have heard from dennis over the years since his early releases on synewave to madhouse, large records, king street, defected and objektivity is a portrait of dennis musica evolution. >the red room< marks ferrers followup to the 2010 global anthem >hey hey< and has received accolades from top djs around the world, including pete tong who played an unsolicited mp3 three times at the beginning of the summer on his essential selection radio show.
red room is out now on objektivity with remixes from detroit newcomer kyle hall who at a mere 19 years old has released on labels such as warp, hyperdub and fxhe.
the three new songs from young prodigies martinez brothers featured here, >broke in the bx<, >wont somebody<, and the title-track, all come complete with the brothers trademarks—classic drum sounds, slow-burning intensity, and soulful melodies in their synth work.
hey hey is a simple house track with a gorgeous vocal that is instantly recognisable. the growing success of the track proves that there is still a real hunger for full on singalong vocals in house music, which have been few and far between in the percussive loop-dominated house scene of the past 18 months.
the long anticipated release from mojoe & marlow on dennis ferrer s objektivity. the original, a strong driving hypnotizing groove with detroit and chicago vibes, is accompanied by a powerful drum tool reworked by ferrer.

by now we know the exaltics stand for high quality advanced deep space electro techno after their great trilogy on clone records and most recently their great retrospective album -the truth 2008 - 2013-on their own solar one music. as a follow up on that album they invited an impressive line up of remixers to work on some of their album tracks! e.r.p. , gosub, dopplereffekt, objekt, and ultradyne: these heavyweights and legendary artists have written some of the most important pages of the electro / techno history. a dream come true for the exaltics and a heavy weight and highly desirable collection of electro techno on solar one music! highly recommended!
nice price deal !!! xenogears is the name of the first studio project of marieu and lucretio, also known as the analogue cops. with this moniker they released a bunch of seminal techno cuts on the first chapters of their restoration imprint, back in 2007. tracks which were played by legends as anthony shakir, claude young and the suburban knight. now the xenogears are back with their first album *lost artemis*, showcasing their distinctive fast, detroit-inspired hardware techno. the album features a collaboration with their usual collaborator nomadronin (with whom they run the label bratha) and with the talented producer known as objekt. all the tracks are characterized by a strong fascination for hi-tech synthesizers and rusted vintage gears, a fast pace, and a minimal approach to live mixing. they have explored the subterranean territories between post-atomic noises and apocalyptic breakbeats, finding a way to equate machines with funkiness in an open battlefield.
as a rave icarus turns to his companion and sighs, *we tried to touch the sun my friend, but we got burned...* these tracks leave a trail of scorched earth behind them while you stand bewildered in their smoking wake. nurture your most wayward desires to these sounds coming from god knows where, and inflict them on the innocent as soon as you can.
