2 tracks of deep techno inspired house from 17 yr old music enthusiast alfie. born in the village of oxted, home to a number of electronic dignitaries, alfie has been raised on a balanced diet of garage, dubstep, jungle, dnb, and hip hop which he has further infused with his personal love for old school ska and jazz. taking key elements from each of these styles alfies music is deftly relevant in your ear and on the floor. lead track uncomfortably numb is a high energy throbbing slice of techno laced deep house, with a reverberating bassline driving an almost industrial main hook, whilst layers of clinical percussion and pads snap and swirl throughout the mix. about midday punches through the enveloping gloom with an inescapable rave inspired main hook which intensifies the tracks pulsating wall of manufactured sounds. having already played at fabric aged 16 and with a number of shows pencilled for 2012, including his glade debut and eastern electrics festival, this double a-side is set to eclipse the work of a number of his more senior peers.

(aka paris the black) & the mysterious mr o was a natural disaster waiting to happen. miraculously, the personalities of these two tweaked characters seemed to compliment each other perfectly and they instantly bonded. as detroit grand pubahs, they continue to rise to new heights with past albums like nuttin butt funk which included the mighty skydive from venus as well as an ever progressing live show.

one sided killer application!! some tracks are so weird, that they can neither be fit into a regular release schedule, nor an appropriate b-side be found. for these black sheep we have decided to create a small niche on connaisseur supérieur. the cnss black edition will sporadically present tracks that are way out of our usual categories… with >numb<, daso finally opens his >panteras< box and again proves his ability to rock reeeally hard. the track actually consists of two seperate tracks whose combination has proven itself during several of dasos live performances. it is the transition between the two tracks that makes the crowd go mad. the clonky intro (already published on ware records as mud max - zampone (maderfotor rmx)) morphs into a giant breakdown with perhaps familiar sounding spoken words before it suddenly reincarnates as a ravey monster from hell! numb shouldnt be taken too seriously and is definitely not for all occasions, but dropped at the right moment, this atom-bomb will cause serve damage on dance- floor-gro
